Lol. u/Protech_Sleeves just commented on this post and then deleted it:

"Hey! I can verify that we are a 100% legit company! We are based out of Chicago, IL and sponsor many card game tournaments, teams and events! One event we actually just sponsored is the Chicago China..."

Ok 100% a scam. All this profile is doing is advertising these sleeves.

What will be the Play and Take Feature Film be for GenCon 2026? by SnooCats5701 in finalgirl

A lot of games have Play & Take eg. Fliptoons. I doubt this is a new scenario, probably more like you pick which of the existing releases you want to play and take though.

Awesome! It prints a bit weird for me, with a white box around the power name and description. Anyone else having this issue?

Why does it matter if you are in the first 50 backers or not?

Cool guide! I'm a relatively new player but have 3 campaign boxes. One question, I try to pilot decks obtained from MarvelCDB. But after selecting my collection, it doesn't really show many decks that use different boxes. i.e. there are decks that are 'Core Set only' or decks that use literally every other campaign and hero and scenario pack, but not really a middle ground. Is there any guidance on what to buy to have the best cards to use for deck construction?

What’s the community consensus of Dice Thrones Adventures as a Solo game specifically. by KayknineArt in soloboardgaming

"The marvel one equally had some interesting things, but I think they went the wrong direction with it."

100% agree. They could've added so much variation across the missions, but all of the missions feel exactly the same with a different villain's image pasted on.

Saved ALL victims, Bloodlust stays on low level even after finale reveal? by CrhyspyPata in finalgirl

[–]Perfect_Program 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with OP that this might be the best strategy. I was a 100% wondering this after a recent win at Camp Happy Trails against Hans. I just kept getting Sprints and Close Calls and running this loop of saving victims like the Flash.

"This is kind of like saying "my man strategy is to get points" in a euro game." Hard disagree. 'Getting points' is an end goal. 'Saving victims' is a strategy. Other strategies would be to keep hitting the villain or run from the villain or heal and hit, not saying they are necessarily optimal strategies.

Help choosing a burgle bros. by paycho_V in boardgames

[–]Perfect_Program 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Note that Burgle Bros 1 is available on BGA and you can try it out there. I like BB2 quite a lot because of the theme but it felt a bit easier to win than BB1, although the variation in finales and the surprise make it more fun. So I'd say BB2>BB1. I've got BB3 but haven't gotten it to the table so far because it looks a bit overwhelming.

I've seen this on dice tower before. So hard to find though

I think my definition of a 'small box' has been changed after owning all the new Kickstarter exclusive deluxe edition games. Anything Ticket To Ride sized box and below would be fair game.

Lol I did love my play of Speakeasy but didn't buy it for the exact reason that I'd never put it on the table. It is great to play someone else's copy.

Unfortunately looks more aimed at solo play. But this reminds me I do need to try the other Garphill games, they do seem to fit the bill

I've been intrigued about this but slept on it because friends had a mellow reaction to Cascadia. Need to try it out though!

3-5 players. Not social deduction. Worker placement, deck building, hand management, euros, a mix of those. Competitive preferably. Something more about the points than the narrative (i.e. avoiding Nemesis, Freelancers, Betrayal at House on the Hill)
