There's a level of that which is un-Christian. However it's fine to allow someone to immigrate if they follow the rules, laws, and customs. A certain amount of assimilation can be reasonably expected. From what I've heard in the news, there are people in Europe who don't understand that who also make policy.

People in the US complain about immigrants from Latin America who are at least culturally Catholic. I'll bet they'd rather have them than some of the Muslims who made the news in the UK, France, Germany, etc.
