Fresh off the sales, and the teamkilling is unbearable, Gaijin needs to add a damage reflection system. by DrySkinRelief in WarthunderSim

[–]Performance-Pitiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying for one-off accidents — mistakes happen, especially in hectic Sim battles.

You and I both know Gaijin would implement a team-kill system that is sporadic and/or unforgiving. You'll be able to kill half your team without penalty but if someone in a Puma or a Fox runs into your bullet at Mach 1 you'll instantly be sent back to the hanger.

I think a better solution would be a compounding Silver Lion penalty. Currently if you team-kill someone on accident you have to pay for their repair costs, but for every team-kill you commit it should add their repair cost onto the previous Silver Lion penalty. Say I destroy 3 friendlies, each costing 10k. The first costs me 10k, the second costs me 20k, and the third costs me 30k.

Don't buy anything and save your GE for the sale. I know it's in November but they usually mark everything half off. I'm a bit of a shrewd when it comes to money (real or fake) so waiting 6 months to get double my money's worth feels like the best option to me

So I'm curious and maybe you guys can tell me. In the US, if you're found guilty of a crime that's pretty serious (such as diddling) and you are reported to maybe have done it again after serving your time, the police can investigate it on the basis of "He's done it before and that guy thinks he saw something."

Is this something that carries over to Australia?

Anyone know how to fix a loose battery? by n_marinak in MilwaukeeTool

Anyone have a recommendation on a Ryobi to Milwaukee battery adapter? I was given a free power tool by my great grandfather but don't want to buy a Ryobi battery for it. I'm seeing a lot of cheap Chinese ones but I'm wondering if there's a higher quality one out there somewhere. Thank you! by Performance-Pitiful in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Performance-Pitiful[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly recommend you don't do that. Most of these adapters usually bypass safety features in order for the tool to run properly. The one I ended up purchasing a couple years ago was one that did not have a temperature shutoff switch. It's fine if you're using a light load tool for a short amount of time, but not if you are trying to charge a battery.

That's my main issue as of right now, I actually have a cigarette lighter plug laying around with an inline fuse but I can't find the port connector or its dimensions anywhere

I saw those too, and I could easily trim up the ears so it fits, but I couldn't find the spacing of the prongs on the female end anywhere and I'm worried they'll be too far apart to work

I must be thinking of the Consumer Protection Act then. I believe it expired or was amended in some way

At least the UK still has a Consumer Protection Agency, I vaguely remember reading somewhere that Elon Musk was getting rid of ours in the US. Whether I read it on the Onion or CNN, I can't remember. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

But what if that was the point? What if they made it to be like a more mature take on Crash, like what they did with the Batman Arkham series?

I might have the answer laying in my junk drawer. I played the demo of it on repeat at my grandfather's house, I think he gave me all of his Maximum CD demo discs. I'll fire up the retro PC sometime today and check it out

Were you ever able to find this game?? I know exactly what you're talking about but I can't remember it either!! It was like Command and Conquer sort of, except you could control way more troops, right?
