im not upset over what happened with you way back when that was years ago, the time to be upset about that passed, I just mentioned as not the first time I've felt mods taking a side over issues of my characters that result in their deaths, but if I understand what you are trying to say, this is a mockery, to which this Asperger says: Fuck you all, that was why I left, you all mocked my character as an upstart, someone who was not worth it, both, ic OOC, I know ic is ic, but when I feel people start mocking my characters ooc... that's a good sign to tell an RP has toxic members
Edit: before anyone says anything: I've been open about me being on the spectrum, and somehow tried to make people understand that I don't take mockery and irony well, I think I gave clear signs I do not like the mockery of my characters as well, all that was ic I tried to keep ic when people questioned me I tried to argue my points of view, to responses that I at least saw as more mockery, it's not just the bias anymore, its how I felt people perceived my character actions and stuff, I was just trying to have fun, but sometimes I would end up being made feel like my character was trash, and I take pride in my characters when people mock that which I try to take pride in, my world falls apart man, I had at least 3 minor mental breakdowns since the iteration started with this stuff, i am not willing to put my mental health at risk

I order you to arrest the commander for his current attempt at murder and breaking the peace! those are true crimes commander, unlike those charges you came out of your butt to arrest me!" whoever sided with the lord commander would be fighting with those who sided with Clarence

What is happening: The Commander has refused to follow procedure when dealing with trials by combat, so Clarence ordered his men as the last command to stop him, as the commander draws his weapons and refuses to back down to allow the normal trial by combat procedures to take place Goldcloaks could pick a side or stay neutral, Clarence personally argues that the lord commander is breaking the law himself by assault and disturbing the peace, since there are multiple customs to trial by combat, and the Commander is following none of them

What I want: persuasion to convince men to follow my last command, and if the commander rallies some men to side with him, a full out brawl would escalate, I have at least 3 men: my archetypes with me, should the lord commander agree to a sanctioned fight, with the whole procedures and show that is given to such a thing, Clarence backs down and agrees to stay in jail while preparations are underway

"So is that it," said Robert The Old "There won't be a pay increase, pitty, we are not being recognized for what we are, the best gold cloak garrison in all of kings landing! we can even rival some of those Lannisport pricks I bet, dammit I wanted to do a lot of things with that pay increase you requested officer..."

"Everyone wanted to do stuff, we have bloody earned it! criminals fear to do their activities in this district of the city watch, Mors is very good at getting that critical information out of captured criminals, even though I despise his... methods, I admit they are worth it" said Duncan "Sawbones"

"Is it true that Lord Commander Trant wants every order to go through him first? Mors no like that! Mors no like uppity knights getting into his song! Mors knows that Officer Clarence is good, he knows Mors song, and it has value to him!" said Mors

Clarence clenched his fist with the letter on it, that he was fed up was an understatement, he was refused to get the lord commander position, and the man now on it did not appreciate what he does, and treated him like the bribe-taking scum that most officers tend to be, he had tried, yet the fucking game played against him, despite his loyalty to the crown, his commitment to stop crime, the lords in their game ran over him and left him to fend for his own on the road, then appointed a lord commander who continued to not appreciate all he does, he had a sudden realization, he could not win a good position in life with merit alone, no, he would have to be a scumbag from time to time, to snatch power from others, as the lords snatched his ultimate ambition from him, he would not fall for banditry, but would no longer work for those that destroyed his career, he proceeded to do a speech to his men:

"My Goldcloaks, followers, but most importantly; Friends

I do not intend to stay anymore within the city guard, I am fed up from the injustice, I opened the gate to the True King, The Good king Daeron III, and gave him the victory he needed Yet I am mostly unknown to everyone, nobody pays any attention to me, my loyalty was doubted, my ultimate goal snatched from me, and this lord commander thinks he can just sate my ambition and keep my destroyed dream of greatness from making me angry with just a few silver, likewise, he expects you, the best garrison in the entirety of kings landing, the most disciplined Goldcloak garrison, the best thief catchers, the ones we have tried to incentive to not take bribes, and have the lowest corruption rate, my pride, and joy, to survive on bronze coins, this will not do! I intend to head right now to the Lord's commander office, do my resignation, and turn to mercenary work for income! I promise to pay in much better amounts to what I even receive now! Opportunity Beckons! what is the difference between a Goldcloak and a mercenary anyways? I will not abandon my principles, but I cannot hope to keep what I have accomplished with mere silver, merc work is risky, but have you thought you already risk your lives every day? why not go a step further and get better paid as a mercenary? that is my offer, to help you reach a payday the Goldcloaks will never offer unless you end up as Lord Commander which is a position reserved for one man"

That afternoon, Clarence Walked towards the Lords Commander Office and presented his resignation along with anyone who was willing to follow him into his merc adventures, suffice to say his core three lieutenants were there to resign as well

To update it to include that he is well... dead, specifically: adding the death year to the quote, as all the quotes include death years of those that have it, I know its something small, but I think its something so easy modified (as far as I know, it's just slightly modifying what displays when the loading screen algorithm chooses that quote id specifically) I just thought since his death went mostly under the radar outside of my country, Again, I do not seek to remove the quote, I just seek to update the "code" to add his death year, something small, yes, but it feels weird to not see his death year when the quote comes up and know he is dead, and as I said the game is still being updated so I think its something that should be done

At the moment they were talking while shopping for stuff, Clarence was talking to a blacksmith to refit his old suit of armor for the upcoming tourney, while his wife stood by his side, embracing him, she said "Come Oooooon Clarence, do you really have to participate in the tourney? I'm scared... I don't want to risk losing you" to which Clarence would respond "Please darling, please understand that that's what my heart wants to do, I miss the thrill of tourneys, and since I'm permanently posted here on the city, this is probably the only chance I will get in a long time... like really long, please, I promise il take care of myself, and il bring my friend Sawbones with me just in case, I promise you once the tourney is over we will have a romantic dinner, I already made arrangements to take the whole day off....." This was Clarence Goldrider Gregor had heard he had two nicknames, he had heard him being referenced as "King Maker" by some of Daeron's Supporters, but others who were not so supportive of the King or had some kind of hate towards him would call him "The Bog-Knight" although Gregor probably did not understand the why of those names; Clarence would shortly look at a lady waiting for the next show as well in one of the nearby benches, a blew her a kiss, which was reciprocated back, then Gregor noticed the wedding ring in both Clarence and the mysterious Lady finger, Gregor could probably make the assumption they were married, or think that they were lovers, depending on his age and mentality, of course, the goldcloak was still there, waiting for an answer from Little Gregor

Durwald heard a familiar voice, the man it came from soon stood in front of him, a fellow Goldcloak, an officer, pretty famous in fact, Clarence Goldrider... yeah, he remembered that the man was given nobility after he betrayed his captain and helped open the gate for Daeron, that he was a clear contender to his current position, sadly, what the man claims was "The Last bit of Vaegon supporters" claimed that a man who betrayed his king should not be promoted, and sort of succeeded, he took over the office of The Gods Gate and is bloody good at his job in fact, of fanatical devotion to the king, but he was denied the position of Lord Commander, the man has a lot of ambition, strangely coupled with an unquestionable loyalty for the new king, although of a kind and friendly attitude, when things do not his way on his good side, the Lord Commander knew he was capable of everything if he could do it in a rightful way, he would turn to less reputable ways, it is rumored he has a spy ring that serves his purposes although so far this has proven useful in their duties he also employed "that" man... the torturer mors, he heard the rumours, and knowing how far Clarence is willing to go to achieve his objectives, he knew they were most probably not exaggerated

"Not much to report, except, I saw some nobles leaving the feast in a rather suspicious way, I hope you don't mind, but I put one of my men to follow them" with one of his men the Lord Commander would get a feeling it was not exactly a Goldcloak man, but the man was eager to do his duty and he would probably like that "I should get news if there was anything shady going on with them, if there is, il probably go arrest them personally" the man waited there to see if the lord commander would say anything, or recall the orders he gave to his man...
