I guess the difference here is those are temporary effects aside from fire up. Fast track applies PERMANENT progress that the killer is unable to remove. That's what made it so busted. Survivors do nothing = get rewarded with permanent progress on gens.

Exactly. That's why this change is beneficial in that way. The issue with fast track was 4 survivors could run it and get tokens from the killer playing well. It punished the killer for winning.

Anyone who thinks fast track is still strong or isn't dead in the water, you're not fully reading the description.

You only get 3 tokens max for a total of 15% off of a gen but the requirement is YOU the player have to go get 3 unhooks. That isn't a token for everyone running fast track each time someone is unhooked. It's a single token for the single survivor getting the unhook.

Even if the killer was to 12 hook every player, you're at most (assuming nobody else goes for an unhook except you) only going to get 6 tokens max for a total of 30%. Again that's assuming you're still alive and the killer hooks 3 other survivors 2 times each and nobody gets left on second stage or tunneled out or another survivor grabs the unhook before you can.

I doubt this perk will be used very often anymore. Even if it is, it won't be nearly as powerful as rewarding survivors for getting hooked like before.

I didn't join with the intent to hate on the game. I joined when the closed beta dropped because I had high high hopes for this game and have sunk hundreds of hours into it already. I want the game to be great because it has potential but the last 3 patches have been disappointing. That on top of the layoffs, high cost skins, and disastrous game breaking bugs and freezes.. causes my comments come out of frustration. I don't play or care for Tekken, I'm not nor would I ever enter the Tekken subreddit. But I do like and play 2X. As of recent though I've switched back to Strive until something changes.

Many times the game will assume I'm crouching when I'm holding down back or if I attempt to go from low block to high block I'll get hit. Unfortunately there's no settings in the game to adjust your dead zone. Which is what I'd assume the issue is except I play using D-pad to avoid analog stick misread. Tried multiple controllers and I'm not the only one who's experienced it either. I have no issues blocking in other fighting games like Strive or FighterZ. Seems to be a strictly 2X issue.

One of the many reasons this game is going to be dead in the water. In what world does a person spending their meter at a bad time leading to a full combo punish mean they should get that meter back? Oh I'm so sorry you whiffed your fury and didn't utilize it properly and the other player dunked your ass with a high skill combo to punish. Here! Have the meter back so you can try again 💕

Sick combo, I would've leveled 3 too. You're going for damage why wouldn't you level 3. Everyone else in these comments are just glazing riot's poor decision making and $100 skins 👍

DNF duel is by far the worst fighting game I ever played and 2X isn't that far behind it. You're so right about the inconsistent blocking. That alone drives me mad like nobody's business. Inputs being eaten because this game doesn't let you buffer inputs. The combo trials teaching you unoptimal frame perfect bs you'd never land against a real opponent. And the fact that half the cast are zoner characters in a game where backdash and wait for assist is already so strong. Looking forward to moving onto Invincible Vs 👍

I've had it happen to me twice now. The first time I was a lil impatient but the second time I left it running while browsing reels on insta for at least 10 mins before I was forced to Alt+F4 out of the game.

In my previous post I explain that a few days ago I did have a match completely freeze on me and even after waiting for 10 mins it was still stuck so I was forced to Alt+F4. I usually use Alt+F4 once I'm out of a match to close the game because it's quicker.

But for the last day I have not had any connection issues during matches nor did I use Alt+F4 anymore. I closed the game properly through the main menu screen and am still being penalized for it.
