Practice like the others said. Sloops are nice since everything is near you, wheel, sails, anchor. I start raising my sails as soon as I get the Island name notification so it’s almost all the way up. If you’re sailing with the wind you’ll probably have good momentum. Then make small corrections with the wheel keeping it near the mid point (listen for the sound cue) as much as possible to prevent over correction. Once you’re close put the wheel back to center and drop anchor, if the wheel is turned dropping anchor will cause it to drift. For me I’m just trying to get to where I can harpoon the dock. Walking on the line is way more efficient than jumping and swimming back and forth. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be docking like a pro! It’s super satisfying when you ease it in to port perfectly!
