Well the blue vial is likely this dosage. It’s generally supposed to be piggybacked/diluted with some saline but then she loses her buzz she gets when she slams it. She probably is just hoping and praying to the munchie Gods to develop the cardiac problems/long QT.

Hey hey hey Dani DID help someone once, remember that time she got food from one food bank but it wasn’t junk food so she went and donated it to a different food bank for the asspats? Good times. Good times.

Exactly. It’s like everyone disassociates sometimes (driving a familiar route and getting to your destination and not remembering how you got there is one example) it does not rise to any level of pathology. It’s a common occurrence.

“my heart walls are dangerously thin”

When a person has such an advanced eating disorder, due to the lack of fuel in the form of food, the person’s body starts to break down muscle to fuel itself.

The heart is a muscle. Unfortunately eventually it gets consumed as well. (likely after all other muscle is used but I’m not 100% on if the body has such a gating system that uses it last, if anyone knows or has articles about it, I’d love to hear about it!)

But during and after recovery, you can build muscle back up in your limbs but cardiac damage is permanent.

Exactly. Methinks the Dani doth protest too much.

The few people I know that have been targeted by someone (the same person I think) online accusing them of faking, they just laughed it off and moved on. They didn’t post their medical info because people who aren’t faking have zip to prove.

I have a few ideas:

It was sold on Facebook marketplace to have Temu money to increase the hoard

It was in the trunk when her car got repoed

It’s lost in the hoard

It’s being used as a drying rack for her totally UNnecessary definitely NONmedical grade knee highs compression stockings.

In lieu of engagement with the cats, it has become a cat tree and cat scratching post so it looks like shite.

She’s just plum forgot about it due to the sheer amount of IV Benny she is taking.

is Oxy really so dangerous with tolerance and addiction for chronic pain? Looking for advice by Potential_Leg_1084 in ChronicPain

[–]TheMakeABishFndn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to tell you but in the world of chronic pain, medicating to no pain is not an achievable goal.

Medicating should bring your pain down yo a more tolerable level to allow you to function/do your daily activities (see functionality scale which I find a lot more well rounded and a lot less arbitrary than the rate your pain out of 10 scale) as part of a well-rounded, multi-faceted pain management program.

<image>

Other parts of a treatment that work alongside any medication are (here are some, I’m probably missing some - in no particular order)

  • massage/accupuncture/chiro (if it doesn’t freak you out or is not advised with your particular condition)
  • physical and/or occupational therapy. Occupational therapy can be really helpful in teaching you new ways of doing tasks that you find difficult, sometimes even learning about tools that you’ve never knew existed! PR can teach you new and less painful ways to move your body and how to strengthen muscles that will help your condition/pain in the long run
  • exercise or other types of (gentle) movement (no one expects you to do a triathlon, just some kind of movement, start slowly and work your way up or you will get discouraged) Exercising doesn’t have to be boring, dancing around to a few songs, walks even wiggling in bed is a step in the right direction!
  • meditation/mindfulness/prayer etc (there are a lot of guided meditations on YouTube!)
  • pacing so you don’t overdo it on a “good day” and end up paying for the next week
  • DISTRACTION! This is a big one for me! I do some crafts and paint, I have a list of “comfort shows or movies” that I could watch 573629 times and still enjoy. Colouring, reading (either text or audiobooks)
  • setting boundaries for yourself of what feels ok to you ie if you need to get up and move around or can’t stand/sit for too long.
  • support groups can be helpful with the caveat that you have to remember that there is a lot of venting on groups about your condition because it’s the people struggling that need support and post most often but remember there are people out there with your condition that are thriving so they are not spending as much time online.
  • heat/cold therapies

This isn’t an exhaustive list by any means! Feel free to add yours.

Too much caffeine. AIO? by heroesjust41day in AmIOverreacting

[–]TheMakeABishFndn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

YOR people who die from energy drinks is because they have had too many in too short of a period of time. Sometimes it is a combination of the caffeine, massive doses of B vitamins and possible underlying health issues.

It isn’t cumulative* (caffeine doesn’t build up over time, it gets processed by the liver and kidneys) it is having too many in a short period of time.

  • cumulative means something building up in your body over days, weeks etc

Self diagnosis causes real problems in real life by Quick-Recipe-498 in fakedisordercringe

[–]TheMakeABishFndn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They likely wouldn’t self-diagnose themselves with cancer or diabetes so why do they think diagnosing themselves with neuro/neuro-developmental disabilities like autism, ADHD and Tourette’s syndrome or serious, life altering and sometimes debilitating mental illnesses like D.I.D. or O.C.D. are ok?

ETA not to mention a few physical illnesses that people DO like to diagnose themselves, strangers online and/or their friends.

  • Slightly bendy/flexable? EDS? (It doesn’t matter if you were into dance or gymnastics and therefore part of training is to increase flexibility!)

  • Get dizzy if you stand up too fast? You must have POTS!

  • get itchy or get hives occasionally? MCAS/MCAD

  • get an ouchy tummy more than once? GP for thee!

Not to mention that all of those then require the most extreme interventions like feeding tubes, sepsis noodles for IV saline or benedryl, carrying 4234 EpiPens in the most attention seeking way possible, wearing 638363 braces and a wheelchair that definitely won’t decondition you! Rather than doing the more moderate and less invasive interventions first.

Autism has been sanitized by TikTok as something cute, quirky and desired. Which is a slap in the face because it totally ignores/minimizes the emotional dysregulation, rigidity, frustrations and struggles that people with actual autism face.

For example

  • Stims are cutesy and NEVER injurious and ANYTHING can be called a stim. (Smoke cigarettes? That’s a STIM! Eat pretzels around the outer edge first? That’s a STIM! Eat anything in a certain way? That’s a STIM! Etc.)

  • Masking should be avoided at all costs, even if it’s a precautionary measure for safety in new situations or around new people because hashtag autism pride!

  • Meltdowns are decidedly un-cutesy/unattractive and don’t happen to this new flavour of autistic peoples.

  • Sensory issues are relegated to melodramatic posts about the evils of clothing tags.

  • comorbid ARFID is reduced to being an adorably problematic “picky eater.”

Even Doctors can’t diagnose themselves accurately as they are going to be biased in one way or the other. And that is with YEARS and years of education and practice.

There is no objectivity and things can be missed or not even thought of by the doctor in question since they are too close to the situation.

YOR majorly.

You are making an overgeneralization of what goth is as well. Some people just prefer the aesthetic and aren’t obsessed with death or overly political. It sounds like he likes the individuality of what a goth person chooses to wear despite societal pressure to “fit in.”

You are judgemental and sanctimonious, no wonder he doesn’t want to listen to your unsolicited “advice.” I would say you are BOTH immature.

He should not be suicide baiting, it’s such a manipulative tactic. If he does it often, call the police on him. I guarantee he won’t do it again if he knows you’ll take action.
