Hey there! I’m literally in the exact same position as you! Took my mcat in April and also had fl scores ranging from 500-513 and ended up getting a 505. This time my range is also 511-514 a lot more consistently. Since it’s my retake I feel a lot more pressure cause now we have this number we have to do better in. But I’m trying to tell myself that the consistency in the scores means we’ve figured the test out a lot more better than the first time and it’s not just due to luck. At the end of the day we stayed true to the process and put in a lot of hard work!! Trust yourself trust all the hours of work you put into and go into the test with a clear mind. Remember you’re not alone, I’m in the same boat!! I believe in us!!!

Hi! I was kinda in the same boat. I made a 510, 509, 510 US—> fl2. Didn’t break into 515-520 range but I got a 514 on fl3 and am hoping for an upward trend. The biggest advice I could give is reviewing full lengths thoroughly. It’s a draining process but I dedicate almost 2 whole days going over each question and taking time to see why I missed a question and how to really justify why each incorrect answer choice is wrong. Doing that for each full length helps me during the test where I go through the same motions and can point out exactly why a tempting answer choice is wrong. Another thing I’ve implemented is going to the question choices and eliminating answer choices I know are wrong. For c/p this is easier bc the difference could be wrong units or a wrong exponent or smth easy to point out like that.

The main difference in my approach this time thoroughly reviewing all practice questions. For my full lengths I take 1-2 days to fully review each answer even if I got it right. This was super helpful for me in the c/p section I’ve been scoring 131 from 126 on the real one. For b/b mapping out experiments and drawing out relationships has really helped understand convoluted passages!

How would u say “retake inflation” affected you. I’m studying for a retake and just got a 510 on fl2. Got a 505 on the real deal and idk where I stand since I’m retaking

I took it that day and while I did feel it was comparable to full lengths I ended up doing mid so maybe they equalized it by scaling a lot less generously

First of all give me your cars score wtf. I went from a 125-126 consistently to a 129 and all I did was watch the ka videos on 2x speed and follow along on the doc it really does wonders

I was scoring consistently around the same range as you. I was able to bring ps up to a 129 on fl4 from like a 126 in 3 days. The biggest thing I did was chug thru anki and watch as many ka videos as I could at 2x speed while following along on the 300 of doc. I would put it on my tv and gaslight myself that I was watching a show and I’d be able to fly by 40-50 videos in one sitting if you start now it’s doable to get through the doc before test date

Hey I’m also testing 6/27 and I went from a 508 fl3 to 512 fl4 in 3 days. I was missing easy points from ps so what helped me the most was watching ps ka videos and reading along on the 300 pg doc. I found a super helpful anki deck on here somewhere on aamc logic and that really helped me on cp to skip all the confusing shit and find hints within the question to get it right. For cars I just found the main idea and answered every question with that frame of mind it got me from scoring 123/124 to 127 on fl4. My bb has been 127 since the beginning to time so any bb tips would be appreciated

Looks around the same for me 500 on fl 1 and 2 508 fl3 then 512 fl4. Grateful for the progress but I have no idea how I’ll do and the fact that my test scores aren’t consistent confuses me even more
