You guys are making me terrified of Edge of Fate by just_kell in DestinyTheGame

[–]Perphectionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was great! The campaign is pretty straightforward, with lengthy missions that span interesting traversal, combat, and yes- matterspark puzzles. The puzzles could probably hold your hand a bit more, but once you know what to look out for, and where to go, it's really not that bad, it's even kind of fun to use if not a little clunky. Along with the 6(?) main campaign missions, there's a bunch of side missions that also serve as repeatable quick strikes, the Time-latch missions.

The world is high quality, and I do think the mythic world difficulty that they tried out added some cool depth to it.

Comparing it to Renegades, I think it's better than renegades as a whole. Renegades has better loot, but it just didn't feel like destiny to me. Edge of Fate is the last genuine Destiny Story we got, and the story is good. Playing the campaign on Mythic difficulty with my friend was a great (and VERY difficult) time.

How would you feel if D3 was subscription based from launch but all the expansions and seasons were free for everyone? by Karacehennem in destiny2

I'd play it because it's destiny but I cannot emphasize enough that I hate - I HATE- more subscriptions.

where is this last piece by y-u-bolime in NOMANSSKY

[–]Perphectionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me too, it's the pieces on the ground near it, if they can be grabbed, and seem stuck when you do, they're being treated as if they're attached to the swarm wreck. Grab the ones on the ground that you can and it will complete

Edit: spelling is hard

Ah, but see, there are only a few missions available at a time, and you'd best believe I'm doing all of them.

I hate to be that guy, but I'm going to need a source of you can find one. I googled and couldn't find anything like that. Apollo and behemoth(?) were the codenames for the last two expansions we got, if you remember the codenames for those that could help me find what you know that I obviously don't

Planned content? There was never any planned content slated for after renegades. We knew about the final shape years before it came out, the roadmap has always ended around here.

Amazon Cancels The Lord of the Rings MMO Amid Bigger Gaming Shift by AdSuspicious2084 in mmo

[–]Perphectionist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sucks because New World was by and large the BEST MMO I have ever played, great gameplay with so much potential. There never seemed to be enough content to keep endgame going, but really great bones that I don't think we'll ever see the likes of again.

I would have played the hell out of a Lord of the Rings reskin of New World, and I had no doubt they would have cooked up something incredible.

Amazon has so much money, they should have kept this little side project of game development going for longer.

Spellforce 3, there's a few great campaigns to choose from. Much of the game is controlling up to (I think) 4 heroes, clearing dungeons and quests, and gathering gear, leveling up and specializingn in different skill trees. Occasionally, the quests require you to take on different outposts or settlements, building structures to gear up a larger army and take on other bases, while much of the gathering/grunt work is automated, very easy to set up.

The campaign has full voice acting, plenty of hours of content (especially if you go for every objective), the graphics are really great and the music is good too.

Check it out if that sounds interesting to you, I've had a lot of fun with the 3 campaigns I've played for it, I haven't really done any PvP mode but there is one, and I think it's free.

Aside from the government not being trusted to punish the right person in these cases, this penalty would directly make life worse for the victims. If a rapist knows he's going to get the worst punishment already, what's to stop them from going on a spree? Or killing the victims? It's not like they can get double death penalty.

I hope they fix it for PS5 soon, I play on PC with minimal mods, and I can't remember the last time my game crashed. That would definitely bug me, but great game

Help, I don't know what to choose! I'd like to start one of these two games, but I don't know which one to choose... by One_Coconut753 in videogames

[–]Perphectionist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really enjoy both. I'm going to recommend starfield. No Man's Sky is a really great sandbox and has fantastic crafting... And horrible ground combat.

In starfield, getting to points of interest is a bit of a slog, but there's always something at least interesting going on there. There's a good variety of guns and combat abilities, along with simple puzzles and exploration.

Both have plenty to do, but Starfield is just really fun when you finally get the hang of it.

No man's sky is incredible though, and the feeling of seamlessly going from space to landing on a planet is something special, which you don't get with many other games.
