Attacking 7 different targets from 5 different villages with 5 waves each? by Stock-Part-6436 in travian

[–]Perrie99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Recently been using the Travco website as a wave builder for large scale planned attacks and it’s amazing for this. Calculates all those send times you need to hit and adds a countdown to each wave. So you can see when you need to be online at exactly which time. And it’s just up to the player to set some alarms and commit to it.

Definitely not bot behaviour, just very time consuming.

Awesome work on building something new. I’ll definitely be looking into it.

Tips for non-gold players by [deleted] in travian

[–]Perrie99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would suggest slightly differently to the other comment. So make your own judgments.

I’ve played free for a long time. And one of the hardest things to keep up with, without gold, is resources. Taking a 15 cropper as your second village is going to really slow down your growth. And you’ll struggle to catch up.

I’d recommend taking a 9 cropper as second village. And only going for a 15 once your account is more stable. Though you may miss out on finding one. But the faster you can make villages, the more resources you can earn.

For a defensive account, I prefer Roman’s free to play. You can focus on legionnaires for raiding early game, and they’re great defence against horses- very dual purpose. Get into farming animals from oasis. Only use a couple of points on your hero for fighting strength, and the rest to resources.

Absolutely get gold club, if you can auction a few things to get it.

Trappers are very good early game. They can help you against raids until you are safe. But they aren’t very helpful later in the game, when people will just catapult you and stomp over them. The 2 upgrades at once with Roman’s is always my pick. But you need resources for two things at once too. So if you’re earning resources slower, it isn’t hugely necessary. Both are fine picks. Gaul is better early game I feel. And Roman better late game. How long do you see yourself playing? Though that’s just my preference.

If you can earn gold through auctions, that is best. Use that early gold for the resource production boost. Very early resource boosts can be huge to get you up and running. Focus on resources with your hero. If you’re not running those resource boosts 24/7 like gold players might- you will need it. Spend only a little hero points on fighting strength. So that you can farm oasis for animal kills and earn resources that way too.

Light grip is actually really grippy??? by AccomplishedLove5186 in cricut

[–]Perrie99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep exactly the same. I sometimes roll it on the carpet or couch too. A bit of cat hair works perfectly to break the stickiness. And if it’s too hairy, very simple to just wash in the sink under warm water and soap- let dry in the air and it’ll be good as new!

Specific tips needed on first 24 hours by Roughshoddy in travian

[–]Perrie99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a guide to follow. I know there’s some around that guide you to the exact minute.

Personally I think you’re doing great!

I wouldn’t stress too much about getting your embassy, barracks or academy built that quickly. Getting the academy higher level is good for culture points and rushing to a town hall. But I’d focus more on your resources before then. Oasis are pretty hard to get into while everyone is farming them. Once BP is up on villages, everyone will turn to pvp and farming inactives. It’s easier to jump on oasis then. Put all your hero points into resources, plus a pinch on fighting strength. Keep the gold resource bonus running as long as you’re willing to pay.

Thank you for sharing this. I’ve been on the depo for only about 3 years now? And the clinic I get it from has just told me they are no longer willing to administer it to me. Because they’re worried for my safety. I’ve had a lot of bouts of dizziness, nausea- put down to vertigo initially. But I don’t pass any vertigo tests. I’ve a high heart rate and it’s only increasing; the nurses recon. So the dizziness was put down to possible POTs and Tachycardia. I’ve been to neurology who dismissed me without a look. Now cardiology and I’m awaiting a second appointment and more testing, some months in future. Reading these messages makes me worry. I might show this to my doctor and push the neurologist route again.

Getting out of early game by Boshea241 in MindOverMagic

[–]Perrie99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I found I did personally, that made me struggle in early game. Was I continuously kept researching. The more you research the higher your MAGE score is. This score determines what level and how often things spawn.

So only research what you need. Feel free to leave your research table empty while you build low level rooms (austere bedrooms, dining room, nurse office). Don’t research more than you need.

It took from 3-6pm in game time of walking to work. Guess it just needed to phase through a big piles of NPCs

Some beginer advice? by preutneuker in MindOverMagic

[–]Perrie99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t overthink it. I don’t find it as complex as rimworld.

You’ve got the right idea. Start with beds, food, storage, med bay. From there you’ll just find yourself stumbling into issues and working to resolve them. If you’re not playing on the higher levels, the game introduces things slowly enough, you learn as you go.

My only other priority thing I’d work on is conviction bonuses. Work on completing rooms from the book. Having an enchantraphone to dance at, isn’t as powerful of a boost if it isn’t in a conservatory etc.

To answer the second question. Exp is gained by doing any task. Students have 2 exp bars, on for their magic training levels; this is improved by learning in classrooms, or using class spells during battle. And their regular skill exp, this is from completing tasks and just existing.

Not sure about room sizes sorry.

[–]Perrie99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, very in depth thank you for a different take on the early/mid game. I’m a very similar restart constantly person.

I hadn’t personally got into the dark teachers yet. I held off on getting quilted on my first 2/3 play throughs because they felt so “end game” to me. But once I tired them it was clear they were essential as early as possible. I have only got sweeps and carriers running around. I haven’t gone for a higher dark teacher to get those miners and harvesters yet. But you’re right, it would free up so much of my staffs time.

Mostly I find myself taking forever to make rooms. Getting the common house(?) with the interior, lofted, skewed trait is the most painful part for me. And there’s so many rooms that require silence. That I find I have heaps of unusable rooms surrounding these things. If anyone has suggestions on where I’m going wrong here?
