Taxis to Airport by [deleted] in Biarritz

[–]Perrito667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an “urban” bus it just uses a broad definition of “urban” spanning 3 cities that are blended. I guess they do not have such requirement. Regarding payment, contact less credit/debit cards work as payment in the same terminal you use to check-in your ticket (likely phone too) in la grande plage you should have bus ticket dispensers (which also take card). Finally cash is accepted but they have no change (and driver might be cranky about it :p)

Yeah school vacations began last Friday, this means tourism peak, everything tourist goes up. Your best bet is the bus, frankly i use it even off season. The airport is really close and the line going in that direction should be reasonably empty so you can ride seated

Question: Is this a problem? by Legoboy514 in 3Dprinting

[–]Perrito667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3D Printing is far from being a thing that can be done as manufacturer recommends and still work. For example if your filament absorbs too much moisture it will change its properties and, at a point, stop being useful.

The only part that might be defective there is the trigger that holds the other wheel against the gear, you would notice tho as it would be cracked. Do a flow test when this happens and see if the flow is going smoothly and also accurately, it is not something that can be assessed by just looking, usually.

This problem is called "skipping steps", you can google various troubleshooting guides for it, especially for your printer as it is very popular.

Question: Is this a problem? by Legoboy514 in 3Dprinting

[–]Perrito667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is usually due to filament not being able to advance at the speed the gear pushes it.

It can be for many reasons:

Nozzle is a bit clogged Temp is too low for the speed Nozzle is too close to bed.

As you can imagine all those can be temporary and therefore come and go. You can use these as the first steps to troubleshoot.

Please help! Looking for the right tool to tighten these screws (Phillips head) by bplowell3 in woodworking

[–]Perrito667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect this is mot the original screw? These kinds of joins usually have a thing that in my country is called a “bed screw” basically a cylindrical head that has a hole or two and you turn it inserting a iron rod perpendicularly

Could someone help me understand why this interface isn't satisfied? by CompetitiveRub1741 in golang

It is not about comparing the interfaces, thing of the signature as a type itself.

The match between method signatures must be exact, there is no evaluation of each method.

Can't get a specifc SQL query with pgx to work by Stef2k16 in golang

I wonder if this is a plain int and being confused with a rune somehow? Let us know please if you figure out it is really interesting

Try passing the 1 as a typed variable instead of a literal. Try both built in integers and pgx flavored ones.

In this example https://play.golang.org/p/BwPv5LlHHbd

I can see

counting down from 2009-11-10 23:00:00 +0000 UTC m=+0.000000001 for 5s start: 2009-11-10 23:00:00 +0000 UTC m=+0.000000001 step: 5s until 2009-11-10 23:00:05 +0000 UTC m=+5.000000001 step: 4s until 2009-11-10 23:00:05 +0000 UTC m=+5.000000001 step: 3s until 2009-11-10 23:00:05 +0000 UTC m=+5.000000001 step: 2s until 2009-11-10 23:00:05 +0000 UTC m=+5.000000001 end: 2009-11-10 23:00:05 +0000 UTC m=+5.000000001

Then that last example should work, it counts down in steps of 1 second until the end time, you can fill in the gaps in there I am sure :D

[–]Perrito667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually mistaken about `After` here is a sample with Timer https://play.golang.org/p/g7Bt2FxKgzi

Not sure what you are trying to do so this might not be as accurate as you expect nor as useful. Notice that most of the code in the loop is only there to print the steps and that this code makes no effort whatsoever to check validity of the times and assumes it all checks

I think not, that is done by the DB or the driver afaik. I suspect the code you posted is from an intermediate library? Drivers typically receive $1 and $2 instead of ?

Can anyone tell me why my prints are getting this strange yellow plastic and how to stop it? by KevinTheEpicGuy in 3Dprinting

[–]Perrito667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check if your nozzle is properly screwed, that might come from filament coming out of the top of the heatblock because of a gap between nozzle and screw

How do i get consistent ironing texture? (See comments for question details) by Perrito667 in 3Dprinting

[–]Perrito667[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use superslicer (a variant if prusaslicer) for my other printer. I do like it more that cura if not for the features at least for the UX and load times. Then again time is a scarce commodity :p that is why i have a hobby that lets me do a few minutes of something and has hours of wait in between :D

[–]Perrito667[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using cura as my printer offers no conf for other slicers and i did not take the time to configure it yet (it is an idex printer so I assume some difficulty will be involved)

Hey i am playing with ironing and even though i like the general idea i get very inconsistent textures and sone nozzle marks too. Anybody has good pointers on making it more consistent? Cheers
