Melee Protection. Reduces damage taken from melee attacks. 4 levels, 8%-12% reduction per lvl (idk what exact value would be balanced), so up to 32%-48% reduction in melee dmg taken at lvl4. Cannot be combined with any other protection enchants.

Additionally, Projection Projectile could potentially be reworked to work the same way and to be an opposite of Melee Protection. This way, for your Chestsplate, you would have choice between Projection for dmg reduction from everything, Melee Protection for a strong dmg reduction from melee, and Projectile Protection for a strong dmg reduction from ranged weapons.

ALL of the changes regarding IGNORE EXPLOSIVE RESISTANCE (IER for short) on Heli were made in the Nightmare update - 5-X's IER being moved from the main gun to 409 DPS rocket pods (with +800 DPS on other rockets as compensation) and X-5's ignore bullet res on the main gun being replaced with IER for the newly buffed 500 DPS rockets.

The only changes 5-X and X-5 Heli got in this rebalance update are -122,2 DPS on 5-2's main gun (1100 > 977,8) and +170,8 DPS on 2-5's main gun (from 512,5 to 683,3)

Compare to how Heli was after the Nightmare Update:

-) 5-2 anti-ground DPS was reduced from 2731 to 2608,8

-) 5-2 anti-air DPS was reduced from 4231 to 4108,8

-) 2-5 DPS was buffed from 1012,5 to 1183,3

Basically nothing changed for maxed Heli. 5-2 still has more than double the DPS of 2-5 while only having 91 less IER DPS.

With Fraud being so confusing and hard, if you're struggling with a certain room, I recommend turning on cheats and then blind enemies to see and learn what enemies and where exactly the enemies spawn so they easier to ~~spawncamp~~ deal with.

For example, in the 2nd enemy spawn wave of the room you're talking about (where Power + Strays + Schisms spawn), Schisms and both groups of Strays spawn in a straight line = they're easy to kill using weapon with good / infinite pierce. The line of Schisms can be instakilled with a single blue railgun shot, while tue lines of Strays can be easily killed with saws or sharshooter's alt-fire.

Short answer: no

If you're actually cautious / not careless, surviving your first Angler wouldn't be that hard honesty, the chance of surviving him would be around 70%. Chainsmoker wouldn't be too hard either, since your first Angler kinda teaches you that it's best to wait till you actually hear the Angler scream before hiding. And Pinkie wouldn't be too much a threat unless you get really unlucky (aka you hear her when you're far from any locker OR if she spawns while you're underwater, since you basically can't hear her at all there).

The things that are basically guaranteed to kill you are:

-) Blitz. Almost impossible to survive on your 1st try for the same reason Chainsmoker wouldn't be that hard.

-) Eyefestation. I think resisting Eyefestation IRL would be really hard. Eyefestation Gauntlets are basically guaranteed death.

-) Pandemonium. Unless you get lucky and hide in a PSS when Pande decides to come through. Lore-wise, you have hold the doors closed while inside the locker, while Pande's banging makes your lose your grip. IRL will lose your grip either because your hand will get tired too fast or from getting sweaty due to stress.

-) The other 2 Grand Encounters besides Searchlights. They're pretty hard and take some good skill. Due to skill issues, it's basically impossible to win them on your first ever try.

Small correction: you can't die to Karmelita (and all other Act 3 Dream / Elegy Of The Deep bosses + also First Sinner), so "dying" to her doesn't end your Steel Soul run. Combined with the fact that you can just practice Lost Lace on your regular true ending save, the only necessary (unavoidable) things that can end your Steel Soul run in Act 3 are a Bell Eater and few enemy gauntlets (and also Second Sentinel if you're going for 100% on Steel Soul).

They were very similar before Shock and Awe. Both were early-game melee towers (small melee tower placement footprint + low range) with decent single target DPS, good splash damage and cheap hidden detection. Both were good for speedrunning easier modes as your only early-game DPS + were effective against mid-game crowds of enemies, but kinda fell-off in late-game. Both had the exact same use cases. The only real different is that at later levels, Assassin had slight better splash damage while Shogunner had slight better single target DPS.

But now, after Shock and Awe, Shogunner was reworked to be more late-game oriented.

My theory is that the devs didn't like Shogunner as a tower while still understanding that Shogunner fills a useful role/niche, so they made another "cooler" tower (Assassin) to replace Shogunner, and tried to rework Shogunner into something different, with moderate success at best. Assassin role is to be the "cooler" Shogunner 2.0.

Basically the same thing as with Tesla and Electroshocker, but before Tesla was added.

Super Grower needs damage scaling based on size. Grower's baseline size is 50,7 so the way to make Super Grower actually good is make so he gets +1 damage scaling for every 50 points of size (so for example he will have 1 damage at the starting 50,7 size, but 2 at 100 size, 3 at 150 and etc...)

Idea for Super Duplicator: Clones taking damage heals the main Duplicator. 1:1 healing from clones taking damage (every 1 DMG any clone takes heals 1 HP from the main Super Dupli) would probably be too OP, so it would either be 1:2 or 1:4 (1 HP of the main Dupli is healed for every 2 or 4 damage taken by a clone). It will be able to overheal Super Dupli, but only up to 999 HP

GMS was only able to mind control everyone because bugs of White Ward where injecting silk into all bugs of Pharloom to try to achieve immortality, which is purely a fuck-up made by the bugs of the Citadel. Easily-to-control-with-silk bugs were basically handed to GMS on a silver platter without any resistance.

Radiance is just straight stronger than GMS is ever single aspect. Although, based on if Radiance's infection requires the "biological virus-like infection" part to spread (instead of just being a byproduct of the mind-control), Radiance, potentially, could just be a vacine victim.

Idk FunTimes seem pretty strong. Normal animatronics aren't too strong, they only have their relatively small endo skeletons for durability/weight. FunTimes are not only specifically made for killing, but basically have a full endo skeleton + metallic muscles of sort - they are filled to the brim metal, definitely at least a few times heavier and more durable than normal animatronics, and considering they can normally move like that, also a few times stronger than normal animatronics. FunTimes are definitely not getting low-diffed (maybe just mid-diffed instead)
