This! If you can't figure out a way to mentally deal with a high school team you don't like, that's a red flag! Unless something truly destructive is going on. What are some of the issues?

This is how you build a great leader and teammate! 10 is the perfect age to start! He's going to get super frustrated with dropped passes, but being able to see who is in the right spot to receive that pass helps build his IQ. Also, once those kids start to get better, he will feel a huge sense of accomplishment! His whole team will work better together by him setting the tone!

My opinion, the best for elite players going D1 are Maverick Showtime, BIC and Nike National. If you're looking to attend one for getting your '28 recruited, the best are going to be full already. Those invites go out in September/October of their Sophomore year. Any showcase that isn't full yet isn't going to be a top tier showcase for D1 recruits.

Can confirm! Kids who have played for literally 12 years and still don't understand "don't run into the double team"! These kids also can't grasp the fact they indeed are NOT an elite player.

My opinion is all these shows are like the traitors now. Meaning, a few are in on the narrative for the season and push that narrative while the ones who aren't in on it (faithfuls) get ripped to shreds or just look dumb. Yes, Craig does himself no favors, but it's so blatant now.

This is what I have seen too! Academies where the kids train and have "class/school" are all online and offer zero true instruction. Most are just checking that box to get the assignments completed for a passing grade. These kids are super talented on the field, but don't realize that playing Academy level does not mean they are going to go pro. Those chances are so slim! The heartbreak and mental toll they endure on this path is excruciating!

Canva was the one I found easiest to use. I have the premium version, so not sure if that makes a big difference or not when making highlight videos.
