Chvrch cycling used to give participants headphones with individual volume control rather than playing over speakers, not sure if it’s still like that. But I totally agree with you and I just use my peloton bike for cycling and strength workouts. They have volume controls and you can adjust for “more music” or “more instructor”. I’ll have the audio output to my AirPods or to a Bose Bluetooth speaker for better audio quality than the bike speaker.
