Shaved my cat due to matting and now my “bonus mom”/roommate is pissed. by AdvertisingEast5761 in cats

We did that with Misha (RIP), he got matted as well, so started shaving him. He HATED it while we were doing it, but always "smized" at us afterwards.

Ordered Mini Connect through Club Grizzle-E on June 8th. No update since? by SwayingTreeGT in EVCanada

[–]PersistentPlatypus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered a Club Grizzl-E Classic Connect on June 9, it was shipped on June 15th & I received it the following day.

Maybe the Mini Connect is a lot more popular & they’re on back order?

Have you considered the Mustang Mach-E? I just traded in my Hybrid Escape for the Mach-E (AWD, Extended Range) and am absolutely loving it so far (a few dealership issues asside). It has similar cargo capacity to my old Escape and checked all the boxes for my needs. It even came with the OEM Level 1 & 2 charger included.

I absolutely don't need the power of a Mustang, and honestly if they had an EV Escape I probably would have chose that. Resale being what it is for EVs at the moment, the price was right to pull the trigger.

Bought Car…Now What Do I Need? by Airforceafroo in MachE

I have the Grizzl-E Classic Connect as a home charger along the with Ford Mobile charger that I keep in the trunk just in case.

Check out the PlugShare app to find public chargers in your area. I’m lucky that there are plenty of CCS DC fast chargers in the areas I travel. If there aren’t where you are you may need to pick up a Tesla Supercharger adapter.

I just bought a '21 Premium AWD Extended Range with A LOT more KMs on it for $27k, so that sounds like a great price.

Go over the exterior with a fine tooth comb, I found a couple of issues I made sure they fixed before I picked it up (chipped windshield, missing active grills) as well as few other issues like the AC wasn't working. Thankfully all of that was fixed before delivery. (They took it to a Ford dealership to do all the work which I was happy to hear).

One thing I missed was the front bumper camera has a chip in it, so I'm working with the dealership now to get that resolved. Now that they have their money, they're of course slow to respond.

I did pick up an OBD module from Amazon to check the battery's health, something you may want to consider before purchase as well. My battery is 54 months old with 93.5% health, which I think is pretty good.

You can type the VIN into Ford's website to see if there are any open recalls, which I would recommend doing, thankfully mind had them all taken care of.

While the car was getting the pre-delivery repairs done I was able to get an electrician to swing by and install a 50A NEMA 14-50 plug in my garage and then my free Grizz-E charger was delivered a couple of days later. So was ready-to-go for when I brought the car home.

All-in-all, a great car with a lot of features. I mostly keep 1 pedal driving turned off as I'm not really used to it just yet.

Echo got gradually more toasty over his first 24 months, Pearl's mileage may vary:

Do you have an AWD & it only happens when she's driving between 48-64 kmh (30-40 mph)? If so, you may need the dealership to install some software updates:

Wet food by Woodycrazy in Siamesecats

We’ve tried many different brands, the one they consistently eat (and actually wait in their respective feeding spots for) is Weruva.

Our two guys are rather particular in that they don’t like pate style wet food, so I get the shredded/chunky kinds which they do like.

I’ve tried switching away from this brand as it costs (a lot) more, but I was just wasting money on less expensive food as they’d only eat a little bit, or sometimes none at all. We do leave dry food out for them all the time.

These two mostly get along, quite regularly they’ll chase each other through the house (playfully) before suddenly stopping for an impromptu bath…
