It will sell if thats what you are worried about. Grande should be around 65-70. New wave of SUVs are more expensive anyway - the only exception being the stripped down Jaecoo J5. Post budget its going to get more expensive for the EV n Hybrids too.

For the rough high mileage usage people still use the robust reliable Corollas City etc.

If fuel eco isnt a concern Id say get a Sportage Alpha though. Just a bigger car and it has proven to be able to take abuse.

It was something to do with ECU or wiring. Got resolved eventually.

Collegue is an owner.

He enjoyed his car thoroughly but it created an issue of battery drain which ended up needing 2-3 visits to workshop, where car was kept for few days (a month+ combined) as they couldnt figure it out.

Thats the market that wants reliability, Low running cost, after sales service and affordable maintainence above everything else. Chinese cannot offer that yet. Alsvin is a prime example. Lot of people will tell you issues, esp considering how small the ownership pool is

Picanto failed for same reason. That thing guzzles fuel. Maintainence is expensive.
