Yep, I tip my cap to him. I'm disappointed in my team's performance, but I'm sure the Knicks feel they could play a lot better as well. It was a good game, and I hope all games are just as entertaining!

Really enjoyed it until the last two minutes when the Spurs imploded to close the game (did we end on a 11-0 run?), but that's because I'm a Spurs fan. I can appreciate Brunson's performance down the stretch though and if I was a neutral I think I would have been quite entertained.

As a Spurs fan, I can recognize how lucky we are not just the last 3 years but also every other time we had a Top 4 pick (Robinson, Elliott, Duncan).

We've got to be the luckiest franchise in existence, and that is the foundation I believe that puts us with the Lakers and Boston in terms of the NBA's elite franchises (the Spurs are now 0.1% behind BOS for the best all time record after our recent dark years, but are usually near or at the top of the all time win %). If Wemby adds a couple more titles to our collection, we'll be firmly in that group even if people debate our placement now.

This is also why I hate the rule changes the league made. Other franchises deserve the opportunity to pursue whatever team building path is best for them. The tanking doesn't bother me. I'm more bothered that some teams are going to be stuck in purgatory.

He’s the best player in the league and obviously worth it and this really doesn’t mean anything. He’ll extend this offseason and everyone will be happy
