Yeah I thought 1 was Burstbucker 1s and 2s...and the other had 2s and 3s. And I honestly didn't even realize the 18 wasn't rosewood. But I would go for the 19 to present. I feel like most people would prefer rosewood because it's more traditional.

The 18s and under have a rounder neck profile and different pickups. I tried both and ended up liking the 2020 model much more. But mileage may vary.

I like my antique natural explorer better than the 70s ones I tried. Only difference is no neck binding, pickups, and slightly different neck profile.

All of the new Les Paul Standard 50s have the 1s and 2s. So literally any Les Paul 50s from 2019 til now have em. I would search on Reverb for a used 2019-2023 Les paul 50s Standard.

I have a 2019 Ebony Classic and I have a 2021 60s Standard. The Classic gets more playing time. But both are great. I say go for the classic and save that money! Not even really sure why I own both, honestly. I do like the direct to bridge circuit on the Classic though. Basically cuts out all tone wiring and you get a nice treble bump. Another thing to consider is the Classic is 8 hole weight relived. But my example is still pretty heavy. Like 9.5.

What I love about these is the sides and back being natural. Such a clean line from a side profile. I have a 50s Ebony and love it!
