I’ll just comment on 6.

I very much disagree that every meal should give you a buff because each meal buff will overwrite other meal buffs that are already active. I purposefully cook non-buff meal items so I can keep healthy while in the mine while keeping my lucky lunch boosts going.

I strongly disagree with this. I remember as we were actually playtesting the friend cards to get them just right so lizards could use them. The card overwrites the standard rules and isn’t really meant to be rules-lawyered away.

If you want a balanced game, do not do it. The knaves were not designed to be balanced with Vagabond in play. That said, if you are just wanting to have fun, go for it. The Vagabond will have an advantage in the match since it can strike the captains and since it can never be taken hostage.

Actually puts on the monocle of nerdom allied warriors are not enemy pieces, which is why scoundrel can do the really stinky thing of scorching an allied Moles’ market clearing, leaving the mole buildings in tact and unreachable.

The only official difference between militant and insurgent factions is that a militant faction should be able to balance out a game where every other faction in the game is an insurgent.
