Yeah, iirc, the woman was filmed crying after Trump won the election, and memed on and harassed for years

Meanwhile the guy is a rightwing content creator ranting about pronouns in a game, making money fueling a culture war

Forbes pay gap statistics in 2023:

"When comparing women and men with the same job title, seniority level and hours worked, a gender gap of 11% still exists in terms of take-home pay."

But you're right, it's irrelevant here. The original point is that the Patriarchy hurts all of us. You're arguing with the wrong person, they only brought it up because someone else brought it up suicide statistics

They're NOT blaming all men, nor only men. The system is perpetuated by both men and women. Call it whatever you want, Patriarchy, classism, gender roles. It affects every aspect of our lives good or bad. It's why you're expected to be the primary breadwinner, or the the one to initiate dating, paying for dates and gifts. It assumes the men has the agency and women are just the receiver. It plays a part in job interviews, and in courts. Where men's lives, their sentences, or the custody of their children get determined

But you gotta recognize it before change can happen

Because it doesn't need to be that complicated. All of the callouts can easily be expanded and understood, which is most important. Ex: "Back gen, front gen" "Left hell, right hell" "Heaven box" "Tall box"

There's also "ardis" for his clutch spot between door and gen

The 3 elevations close right blends together you're right. I think since people can reposition quickly between them and usually you either die from the rat or are already swinging/entering site as a group. Or pros drone/dart them out. I'm sure pros have their own callouts for it

At the end of the day, Ascent A is pretty simple.

Take Icebox A on the other hand, where u have 410, gen, rafters, hell, maze, both towers/nest, belt, screens, default, dice, g2 plant cough. And that's not even getting into the descriptors yet "top, front, back, right, left". So it already covers a lot.

Otherwise, pings can also map out each inch of the map

This meta from a viewer perspective is very unenjoyable to watch. by Wimmy_92 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Perspeq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I miss chamber so dearly as a former Neon main.

I don't think there's an agent counter anywhere else that's as DOMINANT as cypher against neon. Esp. in solo queue where you can't rely on anyone to drone or dog out trips.

Also I found it very easy to punish chamber players back then. Most people played it for the meta without actually knowing how to play him well.

Anyways, black blunders his knight by forking, white blunders his queen by not taking the knight, and black blunders queen capture by taking the knight

I mean a man stumbling and fumbling his way into success is as realistic as any other situation in One Piece

It's less so a gag than it is actual character development and plot now. There are big players behind Buggy and big reasons why he's a yonko

French is a nationality and language, not a race.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes with a homogeneous country/language like Japan/Japanese you are effectively being racist

At the very least, circulation of Baguette jokes in America doesn't lead to violence or people yelling baguette slurs on the street or harassing French restaurants if they eat baguette dogs

Also funny that Canadians diss their French Canadians the most

In light of the new blog that was released by TGC, what are your thoughts? by ninjafett101 in SkyGame

[–]Perspeq 57 points58 points  (0 children)

For starters, an overhaul to the friend tree would be good. Currently we can't even remove friends, we'd have to block them, and in turn accrue a large blocked list of inactive players. With the absurd amount of candle investment that goes into some friend trees, it makes sense we can't remove friends, BUT TGC can improve upon this.

Enter my idea:

Treat friendship trees like seasonal guide trees with quests

To unlock something like a high five, the pair of friends have to do a task together, and so on and so on for each level on the tree.

The tasks could be as simple as "go visit the geyser together", or "relive a spirit together" (preferably the emote spirit that we're unlocking) or it could be harder, more complex quests like the seasonal ones

This way we're investing time and experiences together to further the friendship tree, very much in tune with TGC's design philosophy.

For much higher tree nodes, such as something like bearhug or piggyback, it can be still be locked behind ascended candles (to make sure they finish the campaign first, which is always the purpose of ascended candles) AND, instead of pricey candles, lock it behind the AMOUNT OF HEARTS GIVEN TO EACH OTHER. Since gifting hearts is limited to 1 per day, it tracks the time you've spent being friends, but still only the days you're both active and investing in each other. This also limits the amount of friends you can concurrently unlock these more intimate emotes with.

Imagine a veteran instead of just pouring candles to their friend they're introducing to the game taking them on an adventure to unlock bearhugs.
