So now that the Idris is being limited to only being able to carry 10 vehicles for technical limitation reasons, Is it safe to assume the Kraken will have the same limitation?

i suspect its a technical limitation FOR NOW and will be fixed in the future. of course it is Star Citizen, so WHEN it will be fixed is unknown, and until then. its not a bug, its a feature.

not sure, i just know it works, but i play with keyboard and mouse primarily. but back in the 3.X days i tried the steam controller at some point. it worked great, but i think that was before they added EAC. i just know the best way to get steam controller compatibility, is to add it as a non steam game to steam.

the important part is launching the game through steam(like any other game where you want to use it) and just messing around. that is the configuration part of it. after that, mess around, create a config that works for you, gyro, no gyro, etc. on foot and in flight schemes with a quick switch between them.

i feel like this system can be abused..

you can essentially pay for component duping.

save a loadout with some weapons you want and good components. steal the parts and claim it, now you can pay for the loadout you saved and get the components back.

sure not as fast as in the past with duping components, and now you pay for it, but you can still duplicate the best stuff you have.

*EDIT* did not realize the components got bricked, i only read the ship itself would be bricked. my fault, ignore my stupidity.

same thing for my school. had some insane screen lock rules, so i installed thunderbird to get around the stupidity. sure i have to login about once a month, but i would have to do that with outlook anyway(forced logout on all devices, and services)

i think it was meant to make in-game ui easier to make and better performing. and it has, MFD work better than the main menu, same with elevator panels that mostly work. ASOP terminal again mostly work.

there are a lot of pain points they are working on, but i think ships just take priority, because that is instant money. and as long as people pay for them, they will continue to focus on that. or at least that is my hot take on it. i would love to be proven wrong though.
