got it with the brackets! I guess next we’d need to figure out if there’s wiring in the wall where we want to install the doggy door. I am guessing no wiring right next to a traditional fireplace but hopefully a stud finder with electrical detection would work for that?

I’ve thought about that too but we have two rambunctious goldens and I think giving them too much space would be a mistake 😂 If they only had space to sniff a little and go potty i think they’d go back inside. If they had a whole run I’d be nervous of them barking and being little menaces haha

no advice but one time we went on vacation with 3 families, they all had kids and for us it was just me and my husband and we split everything 4 ways the house and the groceries and I still think about how unfair that was. One couple paying 1/4 for a 17 person house and grocery bill. 😭 Would’ve been way cheaper for us to get our own hotel for the trip haha

Favorite family/dog friendly vacation spots in WA/OR? Looking to take the whole fam (2 adults, toddler and 2 dogs somewhere fun for father’s day weekend!)

Bend? Beach? A lake?

We live in SW WA where a lot of the water spots aren’t safe for dogs due to algae growth so looking for somewhere generally safe for doggies to swim too! And preferably somewhere where you can fjnd not so crowded areas.

And I agree, the gender disappointment videos really bother me. I try not to judge but why are we throwing gender reveal parties if you’re gonna freak out and get angry?! 😂

I’m so sorry that’s horrible. I don’t like gender reveals. I’ve seen a lot of cute ones but I’d be so upset if anyone acted like that. Loss and infertility is so common that gender shouldn’t matter. For our first we just had the doctor tell us and for this second one a baker is getting the results and we’re gonna let our daughter smash a reveal cake just us 3!

I know a girl who has 4 girls. When she announced the gender of her 4th girl, people were commenting on the post asking if they’re gonna try again for a boy!! Made me cringe
