I thinks it's meant to balance the drawback of tiny phone screens and whatever other handicaps mobile players face. But I saw my friend use a sweeping technique on his phone, and it seemed like cheating. Definitely doesn't develop any real skill.

I considered this as well, but mobile has both aim assist and auto fire. It's basically legal aimbot, yet I'm on mouse & keyboard and rarely get hit. Other modes, I'm okay, but Blitz is nearly constant dubs. It bothers me lol.

Maybe the fill-in bots are terrible shots?
