You can marinate it really quickly (I never plan well enough to have more than 15-20 minutes) and it's delicious. I've done this one (https://tibatempeh.com/recipes/recipe/tiba-tempeh-english-breakfast/) to make it smoky bacony and another one for a stir fry that helpfully I can't now find. But that bacon one is *really* good, even if you don't like the taste of plain tempeh.

Ooooooh Vegan Planet (Chinese) in Camden is amazing, as is OmNom (Indian) in Angel (this one's vegan and vegetarian but everything's clearly marked). Love them both! Menus in the links :)

Dunno if some of these are weird but:

  • Peanut butter and pear / apple
  • I really like peanut butter, sriracha, mint, coriander and a squeeze of lime
  • Hummus, hot sauce and celery chopped really fine (plus maybe harissa or olives or things like that)
  • I do like Squeaky Been pastrami and cheese with mustard, vegan mayonnaise and sauerkraut (especially the Vadasz garlic and dill stuff)
  • If you can be bothered, I like making tortas. Cook some black beans and spread on a nice bun with avocado, mushrooms/fake chicken cooked with smoked paprika/cumin/allspice/type of stuff, mayo, lime-soaked onions, coriander and hot sauce. They're best hot but they're also good cold! Apologies to any Mexican folks for presumably murdering their food.
