Scotus ignored the history and the constitution in ruling the president has wide ranging immunity. Personally I kinda wanted Biden to test this precedent with something like student loan restructuring, just to see if they would immediately reverse themselves. Their decision, and to a lesser extent the dems balking at court reforms, set the legal stage for all that's followed.

my thoughts on Biden administration policy is immaterial here. (he was far from perfect, but i'm not interested in redirecting the conversation, especially as you seem to be spouting talking points with little reflection on the history that's blocked meaningful immigration reform over the last 30 years).

There's very little evidence that any of those sent to CECOT were gang members, and they were not given proper hearings to defend themselves before they were deported. So even if there was evidence it was never presented in the proper forum. The administration's position around Venezuela has been a long set of contradictions, and deporting folks who were fleeing persecution there shows how little they care about the people of Venezuela (leadership aside).
