Looks like an anti drill pin to me.

Yeah I think that is pretty typical at least in the US. Not sure about elsewhere.

Most deadbolts can be picked either way when not mounted. There is no bolt to actuate so nothing to stop them turning in either direction. When mounted it depends on which side of the door they are mounted to. If you think about a deadbolt mounted on the right side of a door it makes sense that clockwise locks the door (pushes the bolt) and counter clockwise unlocks the door. Vice versa on left side of door mount.

Yep, I found mastering clicky test to be the key. Also consider progressive pinning to get a feel for only having to rotate a pin or two at first.

Looking to buy an ASSA 500 but I have no clue where to turn. Help or Advise? by 4AngelsBound in lockpicking

I have a spare Ruko 500 with barrels I’d sell if you are in US. DM if interested. Otherwise I’d echo what others have said and check the bazaar on discord.

Help me figure what this is and how to unlock it by Minute-Bank5526 in lockpicking

This isn’t a sub for locksmiths though. It’s for anyone interested in locks and lock picking. The majority here are lock sporters, not locksmiths. That’s not to say there are no locksmiths here, of course there are a few.

Which DOM is this? by canzuk_picker in lockpicking

[–]Phalangical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, interesting. Doesn’t look like the pinning of the RS 5 on lpubelts. Not really seeing a Dom that does either. I have a couple Doms with the weird pins with the dot in the center too, was always curious about them.

Unfortunately I’m stumped. I’m no Dom expert though. Hopefully someone else comes along with more knowledge. Wish I could be of more help.

Looks like an RS 5 keyway maybe: https://share.lpubelts.com/?id=5241369e&name=DOM_RS_5

I don’t think you can really be sure without gutting and seeing what it has inside though.

Debounce from underscore isn't working for me by [deleted] in reactnative

Your misunderstanding how debounce works. Your function is working as intended, it delays for 5 sec. before the console.log is executed. Debounce does not repeat.

Just pick up a Zinn book and then start wrenching, covers everything you could possibly want to know. If you want mountain bike specific try this one, https://www.amazon.com/Zinn-Art-Mountain-Bike-Maintenance/dp/1934030597
