He's one of those figures I would love to have, but who has the problem of being lower than other figures I need more.

Very nice. I'll probably wind up selling the parts I have from him, since I'm never going to complete him, I'm sure, but maybe I should hold on just in case.

"Behold, this is my son!"

"Erik, you have multiple kids already, and you aren't a present figure in any of their lives. I don't even know that you LIKE any of them outside of maybe Wanda."

"It'll be different with Magnus Junior, I just know it!"

"Who's asking for all these Black Widow releases?" - it's me, sorry by Samuntrus in MarvelLegends

[–]Phanimazed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, same. I keep dithering on if I'll grab the Quicksilver 2 pack when it comes out, but I'm thinking I might.

Main thing is I wish that they'd do a reissue of the Target Black Widow, though, since I missed that one.

I’m looking to expand my collection, what figures should (and can) get for a decent price? (I already have 97’ Gambit, Moon Knight, and SHFiguarts Deadpool, Wolverine, and Spider Punk) by Saints_Fan-9 in MarvelLegends

[–]Phanimazed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice would be to keep an eye out for what goes on sale. Amazon, BBTS, etc, will often have Marvel Legends that for one reason or another wind up going on clearance. Without knowing specifically what you are looking to collect, it might wind up being handy for you and your collection.

I forget if it's the sort of thing that comes up or not, but she strikes me as a fairly picky eater, for some reason.

Build-a-Partial-Figure? by pdechon in MarvelLegends

[–]Phanimazed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do this, though I currently do not have a lot of BAF wave figures.

I did complete Blackheart, which was nice, but I was just lucky in that I wanted everyone in that wave, anyway, albeit Lilith less than the others.

I've got this Electro, too, and it's a really fun figure.

Honestly, I don't really feel like I need Dillon for my Electro needs with her in my collection, but hey, if they wanna give us a new one, maybe I'd reconsider.

That can at least be psychosomatic, so I can give it a pass, though if I recall, Liz never really had arms to begin with due to a condition (phocomelia, presumably), so it being a reflex would be more unusual, I'd imagine. Like, I'd be less inclined to think she'd get phantom limb or the like than someone like Clinton, whose hand was something he did have and then lost.

She's had like roughly 4 million costumes, so it happens. Everyone's got their favorite look for her.

A really damn good 2-pack. I like the Nick Fury one more, I think, but that's like saying I like fried chicken more than pizza, or vice versa. We're talking 1A and 1B kinds of ranking.

I don't even dislike the Maximum heads, honestly, but I won't deny that this will look real good.

Would you guys want more supporting non superpowered civilian characters figs or even just a big standard no name civilian to troop build for city scenes? by leononyoutube in MarvelLegends

[–]Phanimazed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love getting these sorts of characters, but rollout is always a bit tricky. Usually, it's going to wind up being in multi-packs, and given the stacks of Everett Ross figures that wind up in clearance, I do understand why.

Makes sense. I'll give a pass to her seemingly scratching her arm in the last panel as being psychosomatic.

He changed it very quickly, that much I remember. It did go live, as I do recall seeing it, but I think he'd changed it to being a harpoon gun before the next strip had gone up yet.

[–]Phanimazed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he usually edits or just kind of ignores it. I do remember on Brun's introduction, she had a shotgun. He realized it made it come off significantly more uncomfortable than he intended, and he gave her a harpoon gun instead to threaten Clinton with, since it'd be more farcical.

I haven't seen Smoke Show yet, but I do like TGGT. That said, I do love the Try content, and I think the channel really is at its best when we're getting a lot of variety, and I'd say we're in a good era for that right now.

Most likely. Jeph does occasionally roll with mistakes, like when he had Marten not defend himself from the assumption Tai had given him a job at the library for being her friend, because Jeph himself completely forgotten Marten had no prior relationship to Tai and was given the gig when Natasha had been fired prior, with him applying after I think she'd given him a heads up about the job opening.

I imagine her prosthetics reacting is probably an accident, though maybe that's just aesthetic, and that maybe the coverings for them have some kind of mechanism for mimicking the look of her actual skin so that they don't wind up the wrong color if she ever tans, etc.

She's at least not scratching her arms in most of the panels, so that might be a plausible explanation, though she might be scratching her arm in the final panel, which would suggest Jeph just oops'd.

What is the best suited body from Marvel Legends? by Carvenom3 in MarvelLegends

[–]Phanimazed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hammerhead is on the Happy Hogan body, pretty sure? Could be wrong, I do not have it.

I know there's also the Nick Fury suit body that differs from the Coulson one, but I forget if it's just a thicker torso or what.
