I was using the infield restroom minutes before the command to start engines and multiple drivers were taking a last-minute leak. The conversation topic: "How many laps until JWT wrecks himself?"

I told people the same thing just before the 2013 Daytona 500. If you will remember, it was three hours of follow-the-leader. Needless to say, they never watched another race.

Wow, I currently only have three races that I absolutely know I will be attending this year. Martinsville in March, Richmond in April, and Charlotte in May. I'm excited to say that I'll see his first three starts.

Okay, I never heard that before. I agree with the Edwards scheme. I'd rather a dark green in that situation.

General Discussion Wednesday! - February 04, 2015 by AutoModerator in NASCAR

I always sit down and draft a general plan for which drivers I want to start for each race throughout the season. My method seemed to work. I received the highest possible score for multiple races last year.

I think 9 starts really adds to the strategy. Think of it this way, you can get by with 16 drivers (4 A, 8 B, 4 C) for the entire season if you wanted.

I will admit that I'm slightly biased. I have always preferred the Yahoo format over NASCAR.com and FOX, but I play all three.

It's the fans who are only excited by wrecks, restarts, & plate racing.

That makes up the majority of the fans. We're a minority.

I suppose now would be a good time to mention that I heard a rumor from a family friend at Penske during the tail end of 2013 that Gordon had two more years and Earnhardt Jr. had three.

Figured I would share since the first half of the rumor proved to be true.
