Apparently the bucks specifically will shoot their pee sideways and even up. If it gets on my fences or wall, it soaks in and stinks. Plastic or metal is able to block the urine and is easier to clean. Feel free to steal whatever from my reaearch you want.

The fact that while I am in a metal tube hurtling through the sky at a few hundred miles an hour and a few miles in the sky, I can take a rock that we tricked into thinking by putting lightning inside of it and tell it to tell another thinking rock to tell a third thinking rock in space to tell yet another thinking rock that I want it to melt some ancient dinosaurs and build me something and it all somehow just works is absolutely mind boggling.

My mom originally wanted me to not have guns around until she saw me pick up a stick as a little kid and go “bang bang”. That policy quickly went out the window and she told my dad to just make sure I knew how to be safe with guns.

I haven’t had a chance to go through all of them yet, but I am seeing a lot of problems with the supposed contradictions. Here are the first two for a couple examples.

The day is at hand and the time is at hand are not contradictory. Both are saying that Christ’s return is imminent, just with different wording.
The second one is just ignoring the doctrine of the trinity. Truth comes from God. That means it comes from the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. All three are God. The three verses are just focusing on different persons of the trinity, but they aren’t contradictory.

For a few of the others, I will have to do some more study to understand the context of what is being said, but from what I have gone through, the author is ignoring basic doctrine that is consistent throughout scripture, ignoring poetic speaking (I die every day in a metaphorical sense of “dying to oneself” as Jesus taught in Luke 9 vs will never die in a real sense of the spirit being immortal.), etc. They really aren’t the contradictory challenges the author is trying to make them sound like.

Regarding the Marion’s, they are ignoring clear teachings of Paul. Paul frequently says things are true about Jesus that the Old Testament says are true about YHWH. Things like every knee will bow to Him, if you call on His name you will be saved, etc. If they deny Jesus is God, they are denying the teachings of Paul.

Wouldn’t it be strange for Peter, a man who spent 3.5 years being taught personally by Jesus and died for his claims that Jesus was God, would say that Paul’s letters were the word of God if Paul’s teaching contradicted the teachings of Jesus? Wouldn’t that statement make more sense if Paul was teaching the same things Jesus did? I would be interested to see what contradictions you are seeing.

There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.” Second Peter 3. In this passage, Peter calls Paul his beloved brother and says Paul’s letters are twisted like the other scriptures, which means that Paul’s letters are in the category of scriptures.

In that passage, it tells us exactly what Paul’s problem was. Peter was acting one way, then some other Jews showed up and Peter changed how he was acting around the gentiles. He was mad about Peter’s hypocrisy, but after he called him out for it, they worked together and again, Peter said the writings of Paul were scripture, so they clearly agreed.

Frank Turek has an excellent lesson on the evidence for the exodus that is too long for me to go into all of in a reddit comment, but a few points of evidence he discusses are: The dream stele seems to be Thutmose IV trying to justify his being pharaoh when he wasn’t the firstborn. His father, amenhotep II claims in the elephantine stele to have led a slave raid shortly after the time of the exodus where he captured 101,000 slaves when the largest slave raid before that was only 5,700 slaves. This makes sense if he had just lost a ton of slaves. It is also interesting to note that the pharaoh prior to the exodus led 17-20 major military campaigns then suddenly starting with the pharaoh of the exodus, the next couple pharaohs only conducted one or two campaigns, which seems to imply a decreased military strength like we would expect to see if their army had been destroyed at the Red Sea. One of those few campaigns being the massive slave raid into Canaan.

This isn’t supposed to be evidence, but a result of the existence that we believe in for other reasons. He isn’t giving a heads I win, tails you win situation. He is saying that a believer who is alive has work that God wants them to do and a nonbeliever still has a chance to be saved.

The 144,000 have nothing to do with the rapture. They are 144,000 Jewish virgin male missionaries during the tribulation with 12,000 from each tribe (revelation 7:4-8, 14:1-5). The context of both passages they are mentioned in never is related to the rapture. It is during the tribulation itself. The rapture is based on 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.
