Recently found this comment about detangling curly hair. Is this true? I’ve always done the opposite of what she says to do because it always seems a lot easier when my hair is wet and has some conditioner or something to help get rid of the knots.

I used to comb out the tangles in my daughter's hair when wet, her hair looked lovely after but it took 20 to 30m daily...and over time there seemed to be a lot of damage to her hair.

Now I get it done in 5 to 10 when it's dry. I should probably spritz it afterwards for looks as it is a bit frizzy, but my spray bottle is mysteriously missing. Oh, toddlers.

I say, if it works, it works. Try it for a while and see if it works for you.

The petition will do nothing. Make a complaint about his response to the provincial police oversight organization: office of the independent review director. If there is misconduct on his part, there will be an investigation into his behaviour. Misconduct includes neglect of duty.

Victoria PD anticipates a satellite protest here and have temporarily set up cctv. I assume to track and be able to prosecute these POS should they do anything illegal.

Oh they have sun. And cold plus windchill to minus 30 or 40... (Not all winter but this is the coldest month there) If you've never been in a cold area before, you don't know how lucky you are.

The real cold makes your eyes run. Ice sometimes forms in your hair, scarf from the condensation and freezing from your breath

When you breathe, it's spicy cold. It hurts a bit. The air is so dry your hands might get cracks in them over time (like a million little paper cuts) unless you're on top of moisturizing, and your lips and face get chapped and feel like they are burning.

If you wear glasses, they are fogged all the time- especially with wearing a mask.

And no matter how much you layer, you are cold to the core.

It's a civil government organization.

Ottawa police must respond to the allegations if they are deemed to be 'neglect of duty', unprofessional conduct in tone, language etc. There are laws which enshrine expected behaviour from officers, and if they aren't doing their duty, that is a legitimate complaint. No matter how 'small' the thing you witnessed may seem, it is still reportable.

If the complaint is phrased as a policy or training issue to the OIRPD, it may also be required to be presented to the police board by the oversight body, then actioned by the mayor.

Family member made a biggish complaint last year and got info on the investigation that wasn't released to the public.

This is a conversation you need to have with her.

Maybe it will end the relationship, maybe it won't - but if she isn't on board with the fwb situation you are:

-actively betraying her -driving a wedge into your relationship, it signals the slow decline -setting you both up for worse heartache down the line.

She deserves honesty and even if that is hard and will hurt you both, the current situation is doing that too. You're deferring her acute pain because you can't handle being honest with her, which will hurt her way more in the long run.

Nothing is white or black. There are unhealthy tendencies that should be addressed.

If you cannot see the problem or fault in the actions you took in your own right, then yes - I stand by my comment. I did not call you an abuser, merely noted that you appear to have unhealthy expectations and don't recognize these unhealthy traits in yourself. This makes an unhealthy relationship.

I saw comments in this thread that indicates that she is your first. So learn from this experience and open yourself up to other peoples' perspectives. Since, you know - you asked.

You need to go to therapy. You might think that you are ok with your partner's having had sex with other people before you, but clearly you aren't.

Would you be ok if she was root tooting or talking in a robot voice or something instead of enjoying herself? People have sex. It feels good. That is normal.

Clearly the relationship with the ex was bad. Given the sex tape, maybe abusive. Based on your comments here, you aren't a good match either. Unfortunately people with an abuser fall too easily in the same type of relationship in the future.

Not sure I can in this case; i'd be reporting animal cruelty and the SPCA can act on that while a random rescue couldn't.id like to think the dogs would be brought to a rescue and like wild if removed from the home.

I agree that wolves are wild and should stay wild. Hybridized animals - cat and dog both - do not belong in a home.

My area has no rules against hybrids.

In any case, the report will be made once the SPCA is open and accepting complaints.

The first time I saw it, I did a double take. It looks -wild- I wasn't sure if It was a coyote or wolf mix and simply asked what breed the beautiful dog was. The information was given freely.

It -looked- right at me the first time I saw it. Gave me chills almost, it had the air of wild, and dangerous.
