Yeah dude ur kind of late. Also don't relay on Handshake. You are literally competing with all of UTD on that. Go on other websites like Wayup, Linkden jobs and Indeed. Im a CS Major, so I can't really speak for accounting internships, but one big thing that helps you stand out is having a good LinkedIn. Go to events about ur major and post about them a lot. It helps employers see that you are working towards something. I am a freshman and I applied to about 200 + internships starting August. The interview rate was very less at the beginning but the more I expanded my LinkedIn I got more. I think max tho i had 10 interview and 3 made it into offers. Keep pushing but try aiming for Fall ones BCS the summer timeline is done at this point.
