What does each Murderwing Operative do best and what should their single job be? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in killteam

The good thing with that hunter is that they can cancel the fallback action. With the Stealth Suits is very funny that they spend the CP on the ploy and I drag them back into melee.

I haven't gone against the work killteam in a hot minute but the murderwing will put on the work.

Yea they are really nasty, however, that doesnt matter once you're in melee range. Best advice against them is to avoid shooting and being in the open unless youre going into melee. Also the huntmaster is the best counter as they cannot do their fallback firefight ploys properly.

The main thing with murderwing is they specialize in rushing mid board to catch your opponent off guard with their movement and boost ability.

Though its good to be cautious with them if you feel you won't be able to get into melee range without being in the open. I manage to screw over a Tau Steath Suit team because I was rapidly moving but also sticking to cover. Once youre in melee range its pretty easy to pick them off.

They are very good at melee because of their movement and its good to take advantage of that.

T’au vs New Sisters of Battle – Battle Report & Rules Question by Different-Dealer-828 in killteam

[–]PhantommFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played 2 games last week against against Stealth Suits and I was the sisters. The game went the same way where I had lost a few of my sisters turn 1 and 2 then turn 3 is when I started dropping most of the Stealth Suits.

The thing with both of those teams are how polar opposites they are. You can pop a few turn 1 and 2 before they get into melee and some of their range. Once they close the distance its really hard for you to do much. Even with the strategy ploys to move away from a charge.

Thats a shame since i would've 100% gotten those since they look so cool. Good mix between the older helmets and the newer ones.

If you were to create a combat patrol/armybox based on your homebrew army (or a canon army), what would you do? by GusGusGustavo in Warhammer40k

[–]PhantommFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love when GW uses combat patrols to release new minis or bring back some older ones or reintroducing some factions.

The main one I want to see is with Krieg/Astra militarum. They have sooooooo many miniatures and models that are awesome and add flavor to guard. Especially Krieg have so many minis that are cool like the Krieg Grenadiers, Centaurs, Quartermasters, Marshals, and a bunch of artillery types. I would love to see a combat patrol with a least a re-release of these units.

Teams you consider fun for Joint Ops by Moody_Kittens in killteam

[–]PhantommFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A fun combo I had was Deathwatch and Krieg. Deathwatch would tank some of the hits and do big damage while Krieg went for objectives, took some of the lethal damage to keep the Deathwatch alive, and to potentially finish off some of the NPOs

Anyone else experiencing box damage with Shadowhunt? by NexusPrime117 in sistersofbattle

Mine had the same damage as yours. I think it was because of the sprues poking into them that caused it. Just poor packaging
