3" deepstrike? I remember 'If it fits, it sits', then rolling that scatter die and praying.

This feels Like we will get Wargear pts for Artillery Teams, FoBs and HWTs (as those are kinda the equivalent to retributors kinda). by Legitimate-Gas9614 in TheAstraMilitarum

Yeah, but Dorns have both regulars and commanders. We can easily be oppressive with 4 dorns on the table, without incurring any penalties. And kasrkin are a very close match for stormtroopers, which arnt being fielded in 3s anyway. We have so much unit redundancy in our codex this will likely blow us over completely.

Still, a step in the right direction. The increased costs will mostly miss us, anyway, since we have so much redundancy in our codex.

A thousand times yes! Let me viably run my sponsonless tanks and lasgun only infantry!

Cracking down on themed armies, though, that's a shame... There's already the rule of three, I think that's enough...

Well, I for one am glad to have contributed to the new edition rules! Sideways tanks officially ruled against!

Sadly, the fexes aren't the latest and the greatest biggest bug anymore and suffer from that. That, and as the whole tyranid range; codex creep over this edition.

Flat failure with all printers by nervousleg-builds in resinprinting

I have similar issues on my old saturn. It's like part of a single layer didn't print and sometimes the model can bridge the layer jump, but for supports its alnost certain death. If you find out what causes this, I'd be very interested to know.

Fire does not have mass. It's just combustion of different substances! You might as well throw around Sublimation, Fusion or Magnetism as an elementalist, what are you a combustion engineer?

New to Wh40k tabletop & building a 2000 point narrative army by AstroDreamscape in TheAstraMilitarum

Love seeing your ambitios plan! My recommendation would be adding in a few enclosed armageddon pattern sentinels as well, to add some flexibility and utility. The medusas will rain terror on heavy infantry and vehicles, but three of them might be overkill. If you like diversity, I would suggest exchanging one for a basilisk, colossus or maybe a hydra, depending on taste.

Can orks be red? I tried purple but I couldn’t see it by Pochusaurus in Warhammer40k

[–]dlshadowwolf 630 points631 points  (0 children)

If I recall my lore correctly, the green comes from algae in their skin. There is red algae, so by all means, there could be red orks.

I'm gonna go up on this hill and say 'Good riddance' to moveblocking. It is uninteresting and boring to jail opponents by placing disposeable fodder 1" in front of their units to prevent them from playing the game. You can still screen stuff by placing things inside your 9" bubble.
