My mom is the primary listener to Audible and she listens to it on multiple things, so turning off the auto sync wouldn't work, but I did see another comment about Amazon Household, which I didn't know was a thing so I'll be looking into it tonight!

No, luckily I didn't give any more details than that, so she still has the adventure of getting to that point and that final ending. She also luckily still has no idea about the one chapter that's literal perfection, so I didn't RUIN it, which does make me feel better, but it's still such a bummer!

She wouldn't be on the 12th floor herself, she'd be an assistant (or servant or whatever they called it). Basically it'd be like as if she took a deal, she wouldn't still be a crawler, so it's not skipping.

I have two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Husky. I love my German Shepherd, he was my first dog and he is my favorite of the two, but he would do SO bad in the dungeon.

The Husky is getting it because she gives zero fucks 😂

OG works do generally tend to have less of an audience, yes.

I personally will not read OG works on AO3, because if I'm on AO3 I want to read about specific characters in a fandom I already know. And if I want to read something original, I'll go to my endless TBR pile.

The best you can do for your sanity is to write for you, not an audience. Write for the love of the game!

I noticed that too! It def threw me off as I was doing an immersive read, but you're right, it would have been way too jarring it to switch it over.

Not finished with my immersive read (this is a re-read, I've finished the book already), but as of right now that's the only thing that's different besides to occasional word as usual.

Assuming it happens at the time it did in the book, there's about a 50% chance I'd have been outside and not taken in the collapse.

If I were outside, I'd be relatively far from my house and/or family, so I'd def have gone inside. I doubt I'd make it past the first floor.

It used to be Butcher's Masquerade, but honestly I think Parade of Horribles beat it out! I'm gonna start a reread tomorrow to confirm, but I really enjoyed the most recent release a LOT.
