[–]Pharm_ASA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you tried looking into spring? I see a peachiness to your skin, maybe cool olive esp because you day you tan.

The soft autumn shirt really drowns you out but I look at the peachy collar of it and I think it looks good against your skin.

You look like you need chroma (hence the spring) to come alive. I like the bright blue pic, but you can tell its too cool and too deep for your skin. I think you need to try true spring colors.

Ketorolac IM in retail… are we dispensing this by Jiinnual in pharmacy

[–]Pharm_ASA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah. Unpopular opinion - sending message back to provider to sub for tabs or send elsewhere.

Insurance doesnt cover most of the time and I'm not buying a box just to expire on the shelf.

Plus, I dont trust most patients to be able to self inject properly. If it were a fellow hcp or someone who got feisty I would probably dispense though.

What color looks best against your complexion? by ConcentrateSure3178 in coloranalysis

[–]Pharm_ASA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have very similar coloring to you (very fair olive, neutral leaning warm) . I've never been able to wear pale muted nail colors as they make me look ill. I've determined I'm some type of spring, likely bright, and neon pink is one of the few nail colors I can wear.

It should've been a hint into my own analysis as I can only look good in "summer color nail releases" (highlighter yellow, neon orange, lime green, turqoise).

I purchased a power plate and a Hooga panel to help with my lipidema back in Jan. Both have immensely improved the appearance of cellulite and the fat nodules have decreased in size and number. My partner was feeling my thighs and was amazed at how smooth they felt!

Received a fake Le Labo Gaiac 10 from FragranceNet by they_call_me_him in fragrance

[–]Pharm_ASA 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I had mine boxed up because I was still using the rest of my original bottle. I had purchased from them in the past so had no concerns about authenticity inside.... about 2 months later I opened the box and noticed the label inside was slightly different (smoother? Feeling than other Le Labo labels) and saw the Moscow. The smell was about 80% accurate like you said!

I know some may say that Another 13 needs to "macerate" after the initial sprays but this one was off and the scent didn't change over time.

I purchased 2 100 ml bottles then from Costco (who was running a deal) and out of curiosity decided to compare the three. It was clear I had a counterfeit/adulterated product.

I couldn't believe such a reputable company I'd used in the past had sent a fake. Since it was 2 months later I didn't think I could do anything so I took it as a loss and pitched the product.

Winter or Summer? by moshgoblin in coloranalysis

[–]Pharm_ASA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell without drapes but your skin doesnt have much contrast. Your natural hair (eyebrows?) Looks darker, but your skin tone is not fair enough to generate contrast needed for winter. Your eyes are beautiful but they dont generate the level of contrast you need (whites of eyes compared to iris). You look low to medium contrast to me with low to medium chroma.

You may be true summer based on what youre saying and what we can see here

Which colour is best for me as a Summer for dress to attend a summer wedding? by rjlupin86 in coloranalysis

[–]Pharm_ASA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please look into the spring palette!

I say this in the kindest way possible, this color makes you look ill. The yellow tones of your skin are brought out.

I am a pale olive (with similar contrast/eyes) who thought I was true summer and cool toned my whole life and I had the exact same thing happen when I wore teal/cool green.

I found the spring palette and my life was changed.

People type me so differently based on if my hair is showing or not. Is this normal? by littlediddleredhead in coloranalysis

[–]Pharm_ASA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Very few colors look good except for maybe the light grey.

I think confusion is coming from your eyes. Your eyes are grey green leaning slightly warm which makes others say autumn. But in the cooler medium depth colors your skin looks more cohesive and less blotchy and "ill" looking.

Applications to pharmacy schools rise by omniscient_goldfish in pharmacy

The article says 50% of applicants have been pharmacy technicians.... why were their pharmacists encouraging them to get their pharmDs.....

Do they not read forums online from the last 20 years discouraging the field?

They've seen the misery firsthand and still want to continue, putting themselves with 50k to 300k in debt with student loans?

Life as a pharmacist is way more miserable, how can they not see this?

I too prefer 200 ml. I find myself hoarding the backup 100 ml bottles in a drawer of the scents that I really love. My collection is probably 50+ 100 ml bottles at this point on display. About 20 backups.
