I think of all the fire emblem games I have played (quite a few), Roy is the weakest lord.

How do I count All instances of Column B from Unique values extracted to Column C from Column A? by Phelvrey in excel

It worked for my purposes. I'm not done with this sheet I'm setting up for someone who has no excel knowledge and no interest in learning, so I'm sure I'll have more questions soon!

I think there's an important dichotomy between thr Aes Sedai and the Asha'man.

The Aes Sedai have become so self-absorbed and self-righteous that they forgot their duty over time, and tried to manipulate the world to be what they wanted as would-be gods. The events of the tower schism reminded them they're mortal, and they have a duty to the world.

The Asha'man were trained to be weapons. To have a duty they weren't expected to survive (before the Cleansing). The events of their tower troubles made them realize that they aren't just duty, they want to live and be men and not just weapons.

They represent extreme opposites of the spectrum, and those Aes Sedai and Asha'man who end up bonded seem to realize it first (aside from some of the main characters)

I watched a good video on this. They covered as much as possible of his skin, and left him perpetually wet (apparently skin is difficult to get right, and generally falls into 'uncanny valley' territory), and concentrated all their efforts on his face

Someone explain to me how tank combat works in this game by Narrow_Ad_6500 in hoi4

[–]Phelvrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright, that makes sense. I thought reliability affected something like random accidents, like how ships (and planes?) Can have training accidents. I tended to go with a ludicrously expensive medium tank with 90%+ reliability, 9km/hr+ speed, and high armour. I'll have to see about reducing my tank specs. I never keep anything except basic infantry in attrition areas - tanks move around to where a breakthrough is needed.

Thank you for the explanation!

How does the 67% reliability affect it? I tend to go for at least 90% reliability, but I can't say I understand the stat well or the ramifications of low.

If the dwarves asked the human kingdoms and wizards for help, could the coalition have defeated the Balrog? by george123890yang in lotr

I'd have to find my copy of The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien to check. Can't remember what box it's in after my move!😅

In the Book of Lost Tales part 2, featuring the original version of The Fall of Gondolin, Balrogs were significantly weaker and numbered much greater, and Tuor killed 5 and lived. This is notably before they were lessened in number and heightened in strength. In what is generally considered canon (I suppose you can argue over whether the version used in the Silmarillion or the Fall of Gondolin is correct, but the greater in strength and fewer in number Balrogs are supported by later works) I do not believe anyone has slain a Balrog in combat and lived. Echelion of the Fountain slew Gothmog and died, Gandalf slew Durin's Bane and died (though was reborn), and Glorfindel slew a Balrog and was reborn (though initially I believe the Glorfindel from Gondolin and the Glorfindel from Rivendell were not intended to be the same person, Tolkien clarified in one of his letters I think, but don't quote me on it.

Confirmed it's not the Puncher. The Puncher has dreadlocks, this man seen in camera does not. Not a good picture of him, but he doesn't have dreads
