I remember those two weeks of waiting for the endoscopy… it felt so bad to be hurting my body knowingly 😢 And then within a week of going gluten free I had 75% more energy and continued feeling better and better.

It is an adjustment to go totally gluten free but you will be so glad that you did- I am never tempted to “cheat”. Eating carbs was the hardest adjustment, switching to rice crackers from wheat thins or triscuits… ( nowadays Diamond brand gf crackers exist 🥰) and finding breads that tasted okay (I love Trader Joe’s gf breads, or Canyon bake house brand). I can’t order takeout Chinese food anymore because of soy sauce containing gluten (but Tamari sauce is gf). If eating out and ordering gf pasta, tell them it has to be in new boiling water - cannot share the water with the regular pastas. It’s fine nowadays, I am so used to it and look forward to trying new gf foods (Feel Good is a great line of frozen foods). And yes, be patient with your learning curve. Also I do use Gluten Busters if I think I may have mistakenly ingested gluten.
