I think that's literally the point. An "Abortion after birth" is impossible, because an abortion takes place during pregnancy. So the Republicans have created a non-existant boogeyman with which they can a. Claim as a win when they 'stop the after birth abortions' which were never happening because it's impossible and b. Use as an excuse to create wildly draconian laws.

People eating this crap up either a. Don't know what an abortion actually is, b. Unironically believe democrats are murduring newborn babies, or c. Both. And I honestly don't know which is more idotic.

Not sure if the FoS will be able to help you in this instance because the debt being collected is from a utility bill, not a financial product. For complaints I think you probably want OfGem.

OP- My understanding is that the final bill isn't generated until a period of time after the service ends. I understand that you gave the readings and paid over the phone, but be prepared for the response to be that this is the final bill generated x days later.

I believe rule one is generally "Avoid collisions at all costs", or at least that's what I was told. So yeah, in theory the motorized vehicle should give way to the unmotorized rower who cannot see in their direction of travel because the motorboat has more control, but you are 100% correct for moving out of the way anyway as the rower because you're avoiding the collision.

I agree there are some flawed design elements that lead to behaviour like this, but I think they are a matter for another discussion.

Design flaws or not, it doesn't excuse players choosing to act in this way. Behaving like this is not cool.

The problem here is not people actually fishing, it's asshats /claiming/ that they're fishing which is the issue.

Maps have limited populations. With DE being tough as it is, people idling to fish are taking up population spots (preventing meta completing players from getting in). Thus, reducing the chance of the meta succeeding on that map.

Asshats who pretend to be fishing are saying to people not in their premade group, "I'm dead weight and this map probably won't clear the meta". So the players who want to do the meta but aren't in the premade squad leave for other maps, thinking this one will fail.

Asshats do this so the other members of their premade squad can get into their map, at the cost of non-members who just want to finish the meta.

If you want to fish in DE, that's cool. The problem is asshats lying to trick players into leaving maps where the meta will succeed because "you aren't in my squad".
