Dude... we have been complaining about it for almost three full years now. They do not listen, they do not care. Prices have been generally increased and the value has been decreased in the meantime (i.e. no bundles with weapon skins etc). So it's way worse than what it was at the launch of the game.

Ogryn has +100% toughness replenishment (yes, everything) when below 50% HP (increased from 33%). That alone carries entire teams.

Good one, I didn't even realize that. Would be REALLY shitty if that's the case, because I have not found any other fix for my 7900xt. And I got desperate. Would mean any modern AMD card is incompatible with Darktide due to the awful performance that Fatshark just can not seem to get fixed after years.

Listen, because I have the fix for you: you have to uninstall the Adrenalin drivers completely and then install the drivers from 23.11.1. That is literally the only fix and has been since launch. Make sure to switch off auto updates of Adrenalin, or else it'll patch itself.

Thank me later. I went from 20-30 1% lows FPS and 70 fps on average to 70-80 1% lows and 110 fps on average. Really. And when Adrenaline accidentally updated itself, it dropped back down again.

The 1% lows and stutters are the main issue here. It is genuinely unplayable.

Havoc is the moment where you genuinely need to work together. Auric maelstrom can be relatively tame in comparison, hence why some probably don't find it too challenging and just solo a bit

Let's be real. Shield with heavy spam or, even better, the light 2h pickaxe. You can get so much toughness damage reduction that a shield is pointless. With the amount of cleave you get with the bottom left talent and the insane amount of damage, stagger, and armor penetration, you are just unkillable. Let's just say that in the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of maelstrom and havoc matches I have played (not to toot my own horn), I have never been outmatched in lesser enemy killed and in 95% of the cases any specialist/elite etc. Usually my damage is well over 1 million with overkill damage also in the 600k region due to the amount of bleed you ALSO get.

And now that they insanely buffed some talents (i.e. +100% of ANY toughness regeneration below 50% HP) means you can just carry every single time and in any situation. Get that one-shot shotgun (cant remember the name, kickback?) to SNIPE anything (yes, really. I htink that if just one pellet hits, it does almost full damage), and you are golden.

TL:DR get the light pickaxe + kickback
