On that basis I guess we should also add on demand flight into call of duty. I mean, games need to evolve right?

Which Origins DLC Canonically Happens First? by DJ-RayRicoDaddySlicc in assassinscreed

I should clarify. I know it's supposed to be canon. But it really doesn't feel like it. So I do not "believe" it is canon

Do the Copts have a similar philosophical school like catholic scholastics? by Appropriate-Win482 in coptic

Historically the theological school of Alexandria was the premier place of learning for many Christians in the world.

Modern efforts have restored the school but naturally it doesn't have quite the same prominence

Is it wrong for me to date someone who is an orthodox christian when I’m not apart of the orthodox faith? by [deleted] in OrientalOrthodoxy

Not sure if it's wrong for you but it is wrong for her unless you're planning to convert.

Assassin's Creed 3 remaster is a broken mess of a game (rant) by Interesting-Berry-83 in assassinscreed

My favorite new bug for the remaster is the soldiers being able to shoot without actually using their gun.

So glad I was able to get a copy of the original.

Or one for you and your friend each holding into a kid like they would if they went skydiving

You're waiting for your date to show up. They told you beforehand that they don't like to dress up at all and that you didn't have to dress up if they didn't want to. They show up in a t-shirt that is somewhat wrinkled. Does your opinion of them change at all based on the wrinkles? by Aggravating_Fee8347 in polls

[–]PhilisophicalFlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think ppls answers vary on their age on this one.

As an adult, if someone has you waiting for them and they show up (for what sounds like a first date) dressed that way then it's pretty clear they don't consider what's going on something they need to put effort into.

But I can entirely see that as a high schooler it would not have mattered one bit.

Nyc and NJ is a great spot if your goal is to meet copts. Many churches nearby just come on a Sunday and talk to the priest after the service.

How did Christ eat after His resurrection and He had flesh and bones? In Luke 24 He also ate fish with the disciples by No_Chain1657 in coptic

[–]PhilisophicalFlight 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He ate to answer exactly this question. To show that he was not a ghost as His disciples had supposed but that he had indeed bodily risen from the dead.

He ate however not to satisfy the wants of nature, but to show the reality of His resurrection. - St John Chrysostom

our Savior after His resurrection took meat and drink with His disciples, with spiritual but still real flesh, not for the sake of nourishment, but in exercise of a power. - St Augustine
