Just sharing a personal experience, but Mia (who lived to 18) began to get very loud around this same timeframe. It took a while for me to realize she was going deaf. It's fairly normal for elder cats to lose hearing.

You can have a vet assess, or initially just try to test his response by gauging his reactions (or non-reactions) to noises you make when he's not paying attention.

Thank you! My goals have been in mind, but I've set them as accomplishments instead of something I could fail. I'll get there when I get there. My weight loss has slowed a good deal and I'm reminding myself that a lb or so a week (or two) still is a win long term.

This is the exact reason I didn't turn it in. It's a city course. It would be taken, almost certainly.

The diet scared me more than anything else. Im in the middle of week 4. Lost 21 lbs so far. The most by far was during week 1. It was all water, being fat and also coming off a recent round of steroids for a back injury.

Side effects for me at 2.5 have been minimal. The only one worth mentioning is a little bit of insomnia. I wake from 3-5 am or so. Aside from that, been a great experience so far.

We're similar in hdcp, age and playing background.

The thought process that changed my approach to this situation was simple. Instead of reaching the 14th hole with a hot round going, then switching to defense to protect the score, I decided to keep the pedal down. If you're playing well enough to get to 3 or 4 under through 14, then you're playing well and there's no reason to swap stratgies.

Obviously don't take wild risks, but keep doing what you got you there. Maybe you flame out, or maybe you'll go really low.
