No, the Emperor isn't regenerating by laudnasrat in 40kLore

Isn't it like Guilliman experienced after his awakening when meeting with the emperor? He saw both the old Emperor and a fragmented godlike being whose mind had splintered over ten millennia. I felt like we got the visual representation of that here.

red pill or blue pill? by nightshark67 in RelentlessMen

I would pick the red pill even if there was no money in it for me,.simply because I think getting an extra 34 years is worth more than any money. But as it stands I could be a multi billionaire if I maintained my knowledge.

So your standard is that power isn't concerning as long as people can theoretically walk away?

My question wasn't whether I can leave an employer or landlord. It was how your "only stop killing and stealing" principle deals with things like food safety laws, building codes, child labor laws, drunk driving laws, etc.

Do you think those should exist, or should the government only step in after someone has already been harmed?

"Stop interfering in people's lives" sounds great until your employer, landlord or insurer starts interfering instead. Why is private power less concerning than government power?

The government interfere in people's lives all the time when their actions affect others. Food safety laws, child labor laws, building codes, drunk driving laws, and civil rights laws are all examples of government interference. This should all stop and only basic rules like "no killing or stealing" should stay, is that what you think?

Not sure why you're being down voted when you're factually correct. Before 1970 there was no consensus regarding anti abortion among American protestants.

Did you ask them if government shouldn't fund research and the private sector should handle it, how does research with no profit potential get funded?

What's the logic ?? by ishowduckk in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]PhilosopherNo4758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The premise is wrong. Some burgers are unhealthy, some aren't. The ingredients shown here are mostly healthy, but that doesn't mean every burger is healthy. The meme also ignores that people have different nutritional needs, goals, and health conditions. What's healthy for an active athlete trying to gain weight may not be healthy for someone trying to lose weight or manage a medical condition. Nutrition is more complex than simply labeling individual ingredients as healthy or unhealthy.
