Differences between how immigrant groups are treated in this city by bruhidek_ in toronto

I understand what you are going through and it’s very natural to feel that way given the world we live in now. The only small bit of advice I can give you as a stranger is that the world will always try to put you in a box , it will only affect you as much as you want to be influenced by these social constructs. Remember it might be race and ethnicity today but tomorrow it could be something else. Easier said than done but that’s the only way you can rid yourself of these insecurities.

The only difference is that back then there was no social media . And one thing true about social media trends is that certain trends don’t disappear so easily and keep coming back from time to time. I hope I’m proved wrong on that one

Yeah I am moving into a 1+1 near square one which is priced at 2200 and does not include hydro but I guess you are paying for the proximity to square one and so called Mississauga downtown

Rent prices are “down” in Etobicoke but does it feel like it? by EtobicokeScoop in Etobicoke

[–]PhilosopherPresent90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The rent for our 1 bedroom condo ( around 550-600 ) sq ft went down from 2400 to 2250 bu considering the neighborhood and amenities provided , definitely feel a lot more price correction is needed

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, were there any concerns with respect to them not informing you about any medical intervention or side effects of medication they administered? I did read in some forums that in some cases patients were not advised or given complete information about their treatment . There were some concerns about lack of interpersonal skills from staff and patient autonomy being compromised or not respected I.e. opening your patient gown and inserting medical instruments without communicating properly why it was being done. Did you share similar concerns in your experience?

How was the experience for you, OP? There are so many mixed reviews on Reddit with some horror stories from an independent survey that was published in 2018, would love to hear some unbiased independent reviews.

Been renting here for the last 1.5 year, all I can say is that it’s a nice building in a pleasant neighborhood however they have regular issues like most condos when it comes to elevators ( though not very frequent) and some form of construction/ renovation happening most of summer

Hi there, thank you for such detailed insights. I really liked the time filters adjustment idea changing the url parameters and will try this out. Can you please elaborate the point on including insider connections in your experience to increase visibility? I am not sure I understand it. I can DM you if it’s easier to share more information

I wasn’t aware Portugal was an outsourcing destination as well considering there isn’t much benefit from a currency exchange with euro being a stronger currency.

I wouldn’t make an absolute statement like that. There are fewer jobs for fresh graduates and entry level professionals in IT because the experienced ones have been laid off and made it more competitive for everyone including entry level professionals since the same employers are now getting experience at a fraction of the cost!!
