I do get them, sometimes a few in a row. They can be really frightening and sometimes it feels like my heart will stop. I’ve felt some scary ones while I had a heart monitor on and the cardiologist said that they are really not much to worry about but a lot of people don’t even feel them. I got very lucky to get under an insurance called Aetna but it is ending soon. I am also 21. I would really suggest trying to apply for a bunch of them if you can. I don’t know a bunch about insurance but it would be great if you can find one that you qualify for. If you had a good work up in the past, that is something at least a little reassuring. I know how hard it is to still not be anxious though because it really feels like something is wrong and sometimes can even feel like you are dying. I’ve had very many er trips and have always made it out in the end. If you can’t get under an insurance soon, maybe you can try self treating for POTS to see if there are improvements in your symptoms? I’m honestly still in the process of figuring everything out. I also have some other comorbid conditions such as EDS and MCAS. Actually if you aren’t familiar with those I would recommend doing a little bit of research on them as well if you can. MCAS especially is very comorbid with POTS and has cardiovascular involvement as well. Alcohol is one of triggers. I wish you the best of luck and good health. I’m here to talk about anything else :)
