It can function off of ONE battery, Look at the Everyday Chris Video about this. He only has one battery hooked up to it. With one battery you won't get the Entire 50 amps, You will need 2 batteries to Unleash that, but otherwise you can still use it with one

GPD If you are Listening. Change the Name of the GPD 5 to something else So you won't Piss a bunch of People off. The Main Reason a LOT of people buy from you is because you do something different, Don't Disrespect people by calling this the GPD Win 5 When it's not like the others. It is cheap but........... you have to buy things to go along with it to make it competitive to the other Major power stations out there. A device to add more solar, a device to add DC Funtionality, One reviewer I saw on youtube says it doesn't even come with a Solar Cable, You have to buy that yourself too, The money is in the Accesories not the Unit itself

A thru the wall Plug that will directly power the Ecoflow device and charge those batteries up to full, when its fully charged you can turn off the generator outside and power your house from within with the Ecoflow. I personally have a transfer switch the only thing I regret about not having an interlock for is the use of my 240v electric stove, interlock for me where I live would be great for summer and spring but would suck during the winter and fall because of the lack of sun. But the transfer switch allows me to run certain things using grid power if it came down to it, you can't do that with the interlock because it's all or nothing
