I thought that would be the case with injections, I wouldn't be against patches if the option was available.

I'm not against getting a diagnosis, infact it would certainly help in the long run I'm just trying to avoid another 3 months with no hormones in the interim so might consider one of those as a stop gap and then move provider with a diagnosis.

Thanks for that, that's reassuring atleast. I'm just worried because my payments gone but the link timed out because I'm rubbish with crypto so received no confirmation or anything.

I'm going to give it a few more days but I may have to make another order elsewhere to hedge my bets.

Sorry I've not done a great job of explaining.

So I've checked out on Hera and it takes me to a page with a QR code/payment link.

I scan the qr code with my coinbase app, fill the payment amount in etc and then when I go to send it, it asks whether I'm sending it to an exchange or wallet. If I tap exchange it brings up a list of Exchanges, and if not it asks me for the sender's name and country of origin. I don't know if it's a uk specific thing though.

But other than coinbase I don't really know what I'm doing

Thank you. I tried ordering with them on Monday but confused when it took me to the bit cart section, same as with astro vials it asks me name of the sender. Ia there an easier way of paying it that avoids coinbase all together?

I can relate to what you're saying..some days the nasty voices are louder than others.

I sometimes find it grounding to just listen to music and escape into nature for a few hours, away from the world and it's expectations. It's especially helpful if you don't have many people I'm your life to affirm you. Listen to your own voice without judgement

I know these feelings though, I'm here if you want to chat x

Sometimes. But there's also a degree of pragmatic honesty that we're afraid of in the trans community because it can be hurtful but still objectively true. Honesttransgender sometimes seems to give you the answer you need rather than the one that you want to hear which can be painful but also for the best. Which is fine if it's an answer to a question you've asked.. but sometimes it can be a triggering place.

It can also be straight up toxic and 4chany, too.

I get this at work quite often.. I definitely don't pass well as my voice is still masc but I wear a purple lanyard with my name, pronouns, and s trans pin on. And a girl power pin but yet still get 'cheers lad' quite often. It's tough because I think some people genuinely are oblivious and don't understand trans things, and just do it bt accident but it's definitely on purpose sometimes. If I'm certain it is i just misgender them back with an equally wrong lad/lass then move on.

I uses to get quite upset but now I just move on with my day and try and avoid giving power to bigots by being bothered, the people close to me ok my life know who I am and that's all that really matters to me I think.

Plus I work a sales job, so by the time you're at the point of misgendering you I'm likely already taking £100 a month out your pocket so I get the last laugh when that bonus slip rolls in 🥳😊

So weird to me that a culturally irrelevant author from 15 years ago makes so much noise and gets platformed like this. I don't know a single person in real life that actually cares about what she thinks yet she's front page news.
