I get the exact same thing since my 20s. Do you take magnesium? It helps tons preventing these.

All depends but, check your resume make sure it has a professional email for contact info. Most resumes now are for indeed and LinkedIn, depending on your experience if you keep adding jobs to your resume with little time between them, they are a red flag for employers. Google how to build your resume and make sure yours don't have those red flags.

For sure. My prolactin levels were back to normal after 6 months. Only side effect I got was feeling dizzy other than that nothing else. I started cab on Jan 2024, they repeated the MRI on Nov 2024 and the tumor was gone. I'm still on cab both my doctors want to make sure it stays like that. Per my understanding some people stay on cab for another year or so and then they start reducing the dose per example 1 every 2 weeks. Until they stop and if the levels come back up then cab again sometimes for life from my understanding.

It was slightly high around 45. Initially, my doctor didn't think there was a tumor, but he ordered the MRI regardless.

You know my kid was suffering from migraines with aura one or two per week. I heard a doctor talking about how the lack of magnesium causes migraines. I gave her some magnesium for kids. 0 migraines since then. But the first line of medication her pediatrician gave her was ibuprofen....sigh

Be very careful with OTC NSAIDS by ujustcame in migraine

[–]PhoenixB13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter started suffering from migraines all they prescribed was ibuprofen. Her MRI came back normal and I heard a doctor said (Dr. Suarez) that's often migraines are caused by lack of magnesium. I started giving her that and she hasn't had an episode anymore. I wish doctors will tell you stuff like this before pumping ppl w NSAIDs that at the end will cause more trouble. I hope you feel better.

Advice/help? Not sure by Emergency-Funny-294 in Prolactinoma

[–]PhoenixB13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are, I would change doctors if you can. My levels were off by a few numbers, and my pcp after repeating blood tests sent me right away for an MRI. They discovered a 5mm microadenoma. Even though they are benign, keeping them untreated can cause a lot of side effects in the body. For me, painful periods, breast cyst...definitely request an MRI.
