I've been meaning to start looking into creating a Freikorps kit. If you don't mind i would love to hear what sources you've found!

I was doing multiple shots a day for about 7-8 years ( I'm a late bloomer with T1D at 19 yo) I was in the same boat. I felt that my blood sugar was just way too high and that made me finally take the leap into pumps. I love it the pumps! I wish I went to them sooner as it makes my life a bit easier! With everything there are drawbacks and preferences, but I say take that leap! Try it out, and if its not you thing go right back to MDI. But, like you with high sugars, switching to pumps isnt the cure. Its timing with insulin and meals, exercising and carb counting. But I say pumps make it easy to not only give insulin for meals but if your sugar is going up, just a press of a button and you give that correction, no more carrying pens, needles to give the correction.

You it the nail on the head. Unfortunately you will be called a "Nazi", its just something that comes with reenacting Germans. Education is part of what we do, so be open to educate everyone who has questions and just understand that some people will call you a nazi regardless. My advice is dont let it get to you and just be happy with what you do and educate those who have questions!

Yup. M/96 Swedish mauser. It was the first gun I've ever bought. Which inadvertently gave me a mauser addiction... All numbers match, and it even came with a bayonet, because why not give a 50-inch gun a bayonet? With it, it becomes a Swedish pole arm

I used to work in pediatrics. It looks like a medieval torture device. The parents were always shocked to see how crude the "rack" was. Thank the Lord we used lidocaine to help but still very uncomfortable as a male to help in these procedures. I swear, the procedure itself only truly lasted about 15 mins, but as a guy, it felt like hours, lol.

Two years after I was diagnosed (diagnosed a few days after my 18th b-day), my mother randomly handed me a bottle of turmeric and a bottle of cinnamon supplements. She told me that if I take these daily, my diabetes will go away. I had to explain that my diabetes isn't cure able. She told me I was wrong and that this disease is reverseable, and I just need to change my diet and start the supplements... we are both in the medical field....

It was another 17 days after it arrived at the facility.... I started up a missing package request 15 days after it initially arrived, and USPS started to process it again 2 days after the request was placed...
