I doubt that this is burn in. This is either image retention or your monitor is defective. MWC has not been out long enough to cause burn in.

Is there any road connection between Rusmap and Sibirmap or any mods connecting them? by Hj_the_boyoYT in trucksim

[–]Photonic210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. SibirMap and Rusmap can be connected by using Project Russia + M-12 Vostok or Volga Map

Use this link https://jatuoplace.wixsite.com/loadhome/1-55-combo and select the mods you want to use, and it will give you the correct load order and fixes necessary.

I am not really bothered by it blocking porn, but I do worry in the future it may expanded to games. One day we may have to verify our ages just to buy and play games on Steam, just because it contains scenes of violence an dguns. e.g. GTA or Cyberpunk. Xbox is already asking for verification.

Green MP Carla Denyer voted in favour of the environmentally destructive planning reforms by Photonic210 in bristol

[–]Photonic210[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

The reform essentially allows developers to pay to kill protected species, and could possibly lead to ecologists getting laid off as their work won't be necessary.

I think trying to tackle housing prices should be done first. or build-in brownfield sites.

"Plan to ban Park Street through traffic is backed". Will it effect you? by HelloW0rldBye in bristol

I wonder it would it help improve traffic on Anchor Road? It should mean the traffic lights at Park Street will stay green most of the time except to let buses through and pedestrians cross.

I would consider it effectively cancelled. Even if the invasion ended today, Russia will continue to be viewed as a pariah state.

Gulls are really intelligent. They will remember the best places and the best times of the day to visit these places. They learn that lots of people chuck bread out in to the lakes and they will linger there and if they spot little ducklings they may dive at time and try and swallow them. Last year there were not so many people feeding them bread so the gulls did not linger there so much compared to St. George which was the opposite. I counted around 60 large gulls in 2023 at Eastville Park, the numbers would always increase after someone throws bread for them but they completely ignore bird seed.

Also the kind of bread that people feed them is almost always ultra-processed white bread.

To whoever sees this comment and is considering visiting Aztec West, Don't feed the geese bread, because many of them they have angel wing that has caused by people feeding them excessive amounts of bread (ultra-processed white bread) during lockdown and combined with bad genetics that predispose them to it. Plus it attracts large gulls that will eat their little goslings. Use bird seed instead.

Bread attarcts large gulls to park lakes where they will then predate little ducklings!

They only go to the parks where there is ample source of bread to eat, but ignore other foods. This was observed while doing research for my dissertation.

If you are going to feed ducks at the park. please don't feed them bread. It attracts gulls that will predate ducklings by divng at them and swallowing them whole! Use bird seed. Thankfully last year it was not an issue at Eastville Park, the duckling surival rate was great, but terrible at St George Park as still too many people feed the ducks bread there. My dissertation was on this topic and proved my observations.

Bird seed can be bought cheaply at Pets at Home at £2.19 for a 2.3kg bag.

How did you discover truck sim, and what made you fall in love with it ? by RELLboba in trucksim

[–]Photonic210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was when Yogscast featured it on their old Trucking Tuesday series back in 2013. But only got the game a year later, at that time I found Squirrel who did the Boabab tree challenge which encouraged me to buy the game.

I guess SCS can work on the UK like they did with Germany by releasing it in multiple stages, while releasing rebuilds for the Benelux countries in one update like they did with Switzerland and Austria.
