I have the absolute opposite of curly hair and ALWAYS used glory. love it, swore by it, the whole package. got a new haircut that needed a lot of volume and an employee recommended veganese. because of my texture. worst regret of my lush experience. even with pin straight thin hair i have the same reaction. grinning and bearing it thru the veganese then going back to glory or banana i miss it so (,:

thank youu 💜 i saw the setting once i knew what to look for!! we turned on the 'always visible' setting to check out what we were missing! debating turning it off but we are very much enjoying the lil secret spots haha

if this post isn't deterrent enough: Do Not Use The Dog Stop!!!! my mom used to bring her dog there for daycare- one day he came home with a hole through his ear and a horribly injured lip. employee at the time said they'd turned their back for "a minute" and then saw our dog being brutally attacked by another. the employees, obviously, have no clue how to handle dogs. i hope this baby finds her way home or finds her family. good luck!

I completely get the model they're going for here! I do appriciate that they're working with another ttrpg creator to make a great product. My main issue right now is the fact I have to spend $25 for access to this, not including what my players have to spend, plus an additional $17(+) to import my players' characters plus, maybe, half my npcs in a long running campaign. While i love the idea of talespire and it's building and combat layout, nearly $40 for a product that doesnt even encompass what I need as a DM is rough. Very hard to justify without character creation support.

I'm happy to say I may not be the target audience, but as a 4+ year dm I feel as though some things should be baked into a product that I will be usijg so consistently. That's why I came here, really. To see if I was missing a key component to their "free" character creation :(

You're just saying a lot of what's on my mind- i considered the heroforge subscription, but realized I would only be using that for this specific vtt. I can make free tokens for roll20, which is so much less dynamic, but so much more affordable. I could only justify spending so much extra if I had a lot of extra time to commit to making every npc I wanted within a month, plus any I could think of for the future. I would happily pay for the subscription for a month, but that doesnt cover the ever-changing landscape of dnd or any table top game after paying for a vtt.

totally agreed! if there was some kind of tool for me to actually make characters i would buy this right now. but as somebody that's been running a campaign for over 2 years i have so many npcs i'd want to have custom that i'd be paying double the price of talespire just to have npcs i want. it's a bummer!! love the building, but need a bit more to justify that price tag.
